Kanpur Institute of Technology and Pharmacy is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and was established in 2009 as an affiliated college. Grown in a 25-acre sprawling campus, KITP has carved a niche in pharmaceutical education. The institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, thus ensuring quality education in this field. The intake capacity is 399 students with a faculty strength of 39, making KITP an ideal learning place. The institution offers four courses in pharmacy, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, embracing various facets of the pharmaceutical sciences.

The courses in pharmacy that the institute has to offer include D.Pharma, B.Pharma, and M.Pharma. Each one of them is full-time and regular on-campus programmes which provide deep knowledge and practical skills in a number of pharmaceutical disciplines. The combined approved intake of students for the year stands at a total of 190, wherein B.Pharma has the maximum number of seats pegged at 100.
