Kanpur Institute of Technology and Pharmacy (KITP), one of the recognized institutes in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has been providing quality education in pharmacy courses to deserving candidates through its admission procedures. Admissions for the different pharmacy programs are done through a joint entrance examination organized by the main institutions.

KITP provides diploma and undergraduate programs in pharmacy, along with postgraduate courses in pharmacy. Programs adopt several entrance examinations according to their program. Degree Wise Admission Process

D.Pharma: The Diploma in Pharmacy course contains a sanctioned intake of 60 students at KITP, and it is entry based on performance in the JEECUP examination. Ineligible candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

B.Pharma: This Bachelor of Pharmacy program is taken in with a limit of 100 students admitted through the JEECUP examination. Admission is open to students who have passed their 10+2 with electives Physics and Chemistry, either Mathematics or Biology.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: This postgraduate program comprises an intake of 15 students.

M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Admission mode according to the criteria for entering the second postgraduate program is by around 15 seats. Usually, entry criteria require a B.Pharma degree; however, candidates should check for confirmation with the institute.
