KCS College of Education for Women, Jammu Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has Hostel facilities for approximately 100 girls are being provided by the College Management. The hostel is located within the College Campus. It is desirable that the Non-Local students should stay in the Hostel. A form for admission to the Hostel is available with the prospectus. The Rules and Regulations for the Hostel are also appended in the prospectus, which are to be strictly adhered to. Any amendment to these rules is displayed on the Notice Board from time to time, for the information of the students. The hostel is equipped with modern facilities which include a good dining hall with proper furniture, proper cots, room almirahs, fans, availability of cold filtered drinking water, and appropriate crockery and other necessary utensils. The rent charges for the Hostel are decided by the University and the same are charged to the students at the time of their Registration as advised by the University of Jammu. Charges for daily meals are decided in consultation with the students after their enrolment is made in the Hostel.

The college has Library has a fully automated library with DELNET and amp; ILL Facility. It has a comfortable & convenient arrangement for 80 students to study in the reading room. It has a large number of books on various subjects pertaining to B.Ed and M.Ed. Courses, Book Bank, Magazines, News Papers, Journals, and e-Journals. No students are allowed to create indiscipline in the Library.

The college has a Computer lab. has 65 Computers for imparting training in Computer Applications to students and teachers. The language lab of the College is interactive and modern state-of-the-art (fifth generation). Besides these, the College is equipped with Over Head Projectors, Multimedia projectors, Tutorial CDs, and a Working ModelsComputer facility with the latest Pentium Dual Core (2.8 GHz.) Computers, PII Computers, PIII Computers with a Server for Networking, Laser printers, Inkjet Printers, Dot Matrix Printer, AO-Plotter for Architectural Engineering Drawings in color, Scanners, Photocopier, Laser Printer cum Photocopier, OHP, Multimedia Projector, Fax, Licensed Softwares, Intranet & Internet facility is available for Administrative & Teaching Purposes.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College has five e-Classrooms fitted with 46" LCD screens. The College also has five 5 Laboratories viz., a Computer lab., a Science lab, a Psychology lab., a Language lab. and a lab for Teaching Aids.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has Classroom facilities for all students.

The college's Motivation for the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of prospective employers for the college's graduating students.
