KIMDS Ranchi hostel facilities are offered to provide a homely ambience like a secure, comfortable and healthy environment. The hostel rooms are well-furnished, hygienic and have ultra-modern amenities. Each apartment has three rooms, which is shared by two students, with a lobby and attached bathroom.

KIMDS Ranchi hostel premises have a common TV room and state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostels have a modern gym with a trainer to help them. The hostels are Wi-Fi enabled and have a separate computer centre with a 24/7 internet facility.

KIMDS Ranchi has a well-maintained and multifaceted library. The training and programme division has established an independent media and research documentation section, which is heard by experienced facilities and research scholars. The library has a collection of 8,792 books. The library has subscribed numerous research journals, which are related to tribal and rural development, sustainability and environment and more.

KIMDS Ranchi offers 24/7 Wi-Fi facility in the campus for the convenience of students. The campus has a computer centre as well for the students to access online resources.

KIMDS Ranchi training and programme division has a well-maintained seminar and conference halls with a seating capacity of more than 200 people. The seminar hall is equipped with an advanced audio-visual system for conducting academic conferences and discussions.

The College guest house facility is in addition to what is available to PGP students of KIMDS. The guest house facility is exclusively for visiting researchers, scholars, and trainers coming from various parts of India and abroad.

The college has a separate covered hall for indoor games like table tennis, carom, chess, etc. Adequate facilities/ courts are available for volleyball, badminton, basketball, and cricket. If you are into fitness and pumping iron, then you should head to our fully furnished gymnasium ‘Shakti’ to stretch your muscles. The gymnasium has all the makings of a professional gym. You’ll find treadmills, joggers, cycles, multi-gym, rowers, and cross-trainers among others.

KIMDS Ranchi has a well-equipped functional Infirmary which provides first-aid and limited outpatient medical services to students and staff. The infirmary is managed by qualified and experienced doctors. A lady medical officer is available in the daytime with nursing staff. The institute has an ambulance, which is available for 24 hours.

KIMDS Ranchi gym named as ‘Shakti’, which is equipped with treadmills, cycles, rowers and more. The gym has all the makings of a professional gym.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
