Khalsa College for Women in Ludhiana is equipped with modern facilities such as state of the art classrooms well-equipped laboratories and a comprehensive library stocked with resources. The campus is not only spacious.
I studied in this college.Khalsa College for Women upholds. The faculty comprises experienced who academic and personal development of their students. The curriculum is regularly updated to reflect current industry trends and global standards.
The college is dedicaed to successful outcomes for its students through placement cell. It collaborates companies to provide internship opportunities and placements. Many graduates firms the college commitment preparing students for the professional world.
Considering the facilities, strong placement opportunities, and enriching campus life, Khalsa College for Women offers excellent value for money. The fees are reasonable compared rewarding choice for students seeking a well-rounded college education.
Beyond academics, the college offers a vibrant campus life. Students have access to a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural events, and clubs enrich students' learning experiences and broaden their perspectives
The campus infrastructure is quite old and needs renovation. The buildings, lecture halls and laboratories need to be painted. The labs have less equipment as compared to the equipment required. Many benches are also broken. The playground and auditorium are good.
The syllabus is too old as compared to the present job requirements. 75% attendance is compulsory and there is a gating system so that the students do not miss the lectures. Teachers are good, caring and helpful but the teaching quality is not so good.
There are hardly any placements in B.Com from the college. The administration also does not introduce job driven training in the curriculum. Most of the students go for higher studies after graduation. Rarely one or two companies come to the campus for placements and those are also local ones.
The fee is about 20k per year which is ok as compared to the facilities provided to the students.
Most of the festivals are celebrated with fun in the campus. Extracurricular activities such as debates, music competitions, etc. are organised rarely. Sports competitions are organised frequently.
The college is ok, neither so good nor so bad. The college is good if one just wants a degree.
The campus is spread over a very large area. The campus is mostly surrounded by other colleges and markets in the center of Ludhiana. The infrastructure is quite old and needs renovation. Cleanliness is not much taken care of.
Attendance is not compulsory, so students rarely go to the college. The syllabus is outdated. Teachers are helpful but not really strict about studies and exams. So, the quality of teaching is not so good.
The placement scenario is rather not good. A very few or rather nil placement takes place. Very few companies come to the college for placements. Most of the students go for higher studies. One should forget about placements in this college.
The college fees is low. One cannot complain about the fees. The facilities provided are according to the fees.
The campus life is good. A few extracurricular activities are organised in the college. Festivals are celebrated with happiness.
It is fun and memorable to study in this college.
Living spaces are clean and food is hygienic. Smart boards are not available in all classrooms. Classrooms do not have proper ventilation. College is having almost necessary facilities but are not properly maintained.
Currently i am pursuing bsc non medical. Quality of teaching is good but the curriculum is not appropriate according to the need of the hour. The things being taught according to the curriculum does not make us job ready.
The quality of placement at the college is not good. Percentage of students getting placement is very less. No proper updates regarding placement is provided by the college side. Pakages offered are not very high.
My course costs approximately 20,000 per year. I don't feel like i am getting my money's complete worth. The curriculum and the method of examinations are not that updated to make us ready for jobs.
Campus life is good in college. Extra curricular activities are often organized by various departments according to the interests of the students. The college is safe and the teachers and support staff and quite good.
Hello dear student,
There is no official announcement yet which is provided by the college so far. but I guess you have to wait for some more time until any official announcement that UGC release on the basis of which college will release their own guidelines or information regarding the admissions for the new batches in colleges.
