Kishan Institute of Information Technology, Meerut, or popularly known as KIIT Meerut, came into existence in the year 2004. The institution is affiliated and strives hard to provide quality education in Meerut, National Capital Region of Uttar Pradesh. The compact 1.25-acre campus has approval from AICTE, New Delhi and assures its students quality education. In total, the institute actively enrols around 68 students who are supported by their very own faculty of 12 members.

KIIT Meerut has quite a number of facilities for its students that improve their learning skills. The institute has separate boys and girls hostels inside the campus premises, which ensure ease and security in living. Fully equipped gymnasiums exist within the premises that help students take proper body care while pursuing academics. A rich collection of books and journals supplemented with other digital resources satiates the knowledge appetite in the college library. KIIT Meerut provides fully-equipped, modern computer labs with Wi-Fi connectivity, housing multi-operating-system workstations catering to the needs of the tech-savvy learner. Besides this, there is a vast cafeteria in the campus as well, wherein different varieties of food items are served; aside from that, there is also an area to let students relax and socialize.  In-campus PNB branch helps students open zero-balance accounts and facilitates education loan facilities. Strong contact with alumni through a well-networked alumni association instills a feeling of belongingness, enabling useful networking of presently studying students.

In total, the institute offers four undergraduate and postgraduate full-time regular programs. These include MBA, BCA, BBA, and B.Com, respectively, with an intake capacity of 540. Among them, BCA has the maximum intake  because the job market requires more IT professional personnel.

The Admission procedure is fabricated in KIIT Meerut in such a way that it is nondiscriminatory and absolutely comprehensive. Candidates in various courses are admitted based on performance in tests conducted jointly by the university/any other agency under proper authorization. Admissions to the popular courses of MBA use tests such as CAT and MAT, while this institute uses UPCET for admissions into B.Pharma.
