48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai.
The department aims to develop ability in students to analyze, design, and provide novel AI/ML-based solutions to solve problems from diverse fields. We also focus on building appropriate professional attitudes, ethics, and social concern among students. Ample numbers of opportunities are available in this field for employment and subsequent career growth for the students including, Business Intelligence developers, AI engineers, Big Data architects, Data engineers, Data scientists, application developers, software architects, and many more.
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination from India, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects) and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together
And
- The candidate should have appeared for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) 2023/ SAT 2024, JEE-Main (Session 1 and 2) 2024, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024, MHT-CET 2024, and PERA-CET 2024 and should obtain a non-zero score in this qualifying examination
- Any other criterion declared from time to time by the Admitting Authority - Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
Admission Details
A candidates will be eligible to apply if she/he has a non-zero score for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) / JEE-Main (Paper-1) /PERA CET / MHT-CET examination.
There are following phases of admissions:
- Phase 1 based on Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT)
- Phase 2 based on JEE Main Best of Two
- Phase 3 based on JEE Main Best of All
- Phase 4 based on PERA-CET
- Phase 5 based on MHT-CET
