Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Engineering is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed HSC or its equivalent examination from India, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects (Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subjects) and obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together

And

The candidate should have appeared for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) 2023/ SAT 2024, JEE-Main (Session 1 and 2) 2024, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024, MHT-CET 2024, and PERA-CET 2024 and should obtain a non-zero score in this qualifying examination
Any other criterion declared from time to time by the Admitting Authority - Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

Admission Details

A candidates will be eligible to apply if she/he has a non-zero score for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) / JEE-Main (Paper-1) /PERA CET / MHT-CET examination.

There are following phases of admissions:

Phase 1 based on Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT)
Phase 2 based on JEE Main Best of Two
Phase 3 based on JEE Main Best of All
Phase 4 based on PERA-CET
Phase 5 based on MHT-CET

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good withe wifi accessibility all over the campus and AC installed in every classrooms and labs with a projector. Good hygiene and maintained cleanliness. Access to library and reading room for study.

College Infrastructure

To be honest,yes,the infrastructure is okayish.Don't worry,it's the second largest campus in Mumbai after IITB,with a huge sports complex.Most computers DO work,mouse and keyboard are fine in all of them;yes,PC versions are outdated,but not very bad.It's a clean and hygienic environment in the classes,labs as well as canteens,hostels too.WiFi works slow but fulfills requirements.Smart boards are often used.A concluding pt.-AC's aren't there in any classes/labs except a few;expect 'em in 3-4 yrs.

College Infrastructure

The college has a decent infrastructure and it has been improving on a regular basis. The labs are average and the equipment's can be improved a bit. Overall you even have decent grounds and it's a large campus which can be explored a lot.
