Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology (KNCET) is an autonomous college was started in the year of 2007 located at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. KNCET is situated on a campus of 10 acres of land and the institute offers various engineering stream for the students. More to that, the college has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and undergoes recognition by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Its current enrolment stands at 2451; of these 99% are under graduate students and only 1% are post graduate students. The institute recruits 196 members in its faculty besides offering 12 courses at three different degrees of study, focusing on the engineering discipline.
Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology has all the requisite amenities for all round development of its students’ campus environment. We have two hostels for boys and girls respectively, well endowed with amenities such as, wireless internet connection, laundry and water systems from solar energy. The college library has books, references, and journals which has been augmented by e-journal to update the student with new information. In addition, labs are set up for each department so as to accomplish the principal goal of creating hands-on learning environments at KNCET. The facilities include an advanced information technology infrastructure with a thirty mega bit per second Wi-Fi cover across the compound in order to allow easy access of the internet among the students. Fans of sports can utilize the colleges various sports amenities, and a gym is available for those more into body fitness.
The institute currently has a total of 11 courses that include 9 undergraduate and 3 Post graduate courses. All courses, are straight full-time programmes and are as follows: Among the engineering streams such as BE civil engineering mechanical, electrical and computer science engnieering are popular engnieering areas.

KNCET mainly accepts the students through the score obtained in the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA-PG) for post graduate programmes. For the undergraduate admissions, the college follows the patterns set by the Tamil Nadu state government for the engineering admission.

Sorry to say but Engineering can be done part-time.
The reason is simply that a Bachelor of Technology is a professional degree that needs full-time inducement to know the real meaning of whatever branch you are going to opt for.
See, Bachelor of Technology develops a mindset to work under references or pressure. In general, B.Tech grads needs to do internships and needs to attend workshops that outshine their qualities and abilities.
There is no problem that if you go for part-time courses but Bachelor of Technology can not be done part-time. It needs full concentration to develop the required skills in the candidate.
