Kongunadu College of Engineering and Technology (KNCET) is located in Tiruchirappalli and has been established as an autonomous institute offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering. It has approved the admission procedure as per the sanctioned admission process by the Tamil Nadu State Government in respect of engineering admission. For all B.Tech/BE courses combined, the college has an overall intake of 780 seats; Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering have the highest number of seats with 120 each.

M.Tech/ME: The college offers ME Applied Electronics, ME Computer Science, and Engineering in its list of postgraduate programs. Admission into these programs is primarily based on CEETA-PG and TANCET score rankings followed by counselling. Each ME program has an intake of 6 seats.
