Konkan Gyanpeeth Uran College of Commerce and Arts, Navi Mumbai (KGUCCA) is an institution that has been providing quality education in commerce and arts. The college, affiliated and approved by NAAC, has a very simple and student-friendly admission process. KGUCCA is known for its multi-disciplinary approach, offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programs to cater to diverse academic interests. The admission process in KGUCCA generally starts immediately after the declaration of 12th standard results, which generally fall in May or June. The college provides merit-based admissions to the students, taking into account the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
Although cut-off percentages vary from year to year, based on the number of applicants, the college seeks to ensure that it has a class with good academic standards in its selection process. For undergraduate courses, candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible to apply. The college takes into consideration the overall percentage in the 12th standard examination and, more emphasis is given to subjects relevant to the course of the study chosen. Candidates completing their bachelor's degree from recognized university or institutes in a relevant discipline are eligible to apply for postgraduate courses.
Admission Process
1. Notification: After the declaration of 12th standard results, the college publishes an admission notification on its official website and in the local newspapers.
2. Application Form: It can be downloaded from the college site or personally one can visit the admission office of the college.
3. Form Filling: The form should be filled correctly and all personal as well as educational information should be provided. All the details should be cross-checked before presenting the application form.
4. Documents to be Submitted: With the application form filled up properly, the candidates should present self-attested copies of the following documents:
- Mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard
- School leaving certificate
- Caste certificate if necessary
- Latest passport size photographs
5. Application Form: The application form with all the above documents required must reach the college admission office on or before the date fixed for the submission of the applications. The college does not accept applications after the date fixed.
6. Merit List: Colleges prepare merit lists considering the academic performances of their applicants. These merit lists are usually displayed on the college notice board as well as on the college's website.
7. Counseling and Seat Allotment: The selected candidates will be called in for counseling sessions where they are allowed to discuss course options and complete admission formalities.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com is a three-year undergraduate course from KGUCCA. The intake for B.Com is on the basis of the marks secured at the 12th standard level, focusing specifically on Accountancy, Economics, and Mathematics subjects. The curriculum offered by the college will enable students to take up different spheres of the business world.
B.Com Accounting and Finance This specialized B.Com program focuses on advanced accounting and financial management. Admission is usually the same as for the general B.Com program but could be marked by a higher cut-off with its specialization. Such students would have a high mathematics and accounting background.
BA: The KGUCCA offers Bachelor of Arts is a three-year course with subjects in humanities and social sciences. Students can get admission based on their 12th standard marks considering the higher secondary level subjects opted for. The college provides flexibility in making combinations of subjects offered at an undergraduate level so that students are exposed to areas of study.
M.Com. Master of Commerce is a Postgraduate course of two years' duration. Admission to M.Com is available for students who possess their B.Com or equivalent degree from a recognized university. The selection process is rigorous and by marks obtained in the undergraduate degree; preference is given to those students having a high academic background in commerce and other related subjects.
