Hello Shweta, scores between 85-90 in TOEFL are considered as pretty good for getting good colleges abroad. But keep in mind that, you can't be admitted only on the basis of TOEFL marks. If you are looking for a technical degree in the USA, you should take the SAT exam to prove your skills. TOEFL is just a language proficiency test.
Hello Priya,
Scoring high in TOEFL might be just one of the reasons that may help you to get into a good college abroad, other factors are extremely important as well, for instance your overall GPA, your SOP, LORs, Extra Curricular Activities and Social Work; however good scores in TOEFL surely does increase you chances to get into a better college.
Some colleges do have this option where scoring well in TOEFL might lead to gaining some sort of Scholarship, however most colleges have TOEFL as the bare minimum and might not offer any fee concession.
I hope this was helpful!

Hello,
For admission to a doctoral program in Germany in the environmental sciences, applicants are generally not required to submit GRE scores. Instead, doctoral applicants need to submit a research proposal, a statement of purpose, letters of recommendation as well as a CV. Therefore, no GRE scores need to be submitted.
Additionally, for candidates who have completed previous educational qualifications where the language of instruction was English, proof of English language proficiency is also not required. Some institutions which do require English language proficiency scores accept both TOEFL iBT and IELTS Academic. The minimum criteria is usually 90 for TOEFL and 6.0 band for IELTS.

Hi Nutan,
TOEFL which is an english language proficiency test will not have any specific TOEFL 2018 eligibility criteria.
The test can be taken by any person who wishes to study or work abroad
Also, there is no age limit to appear for the test according to the eligibility criteria for TOEFL 2018.
While there is no eligibility criteria for TOEFL 2018, the institutes and organisations where the aspirant is applying to might have their own TOEFL 2018 eligibility criteria. So you will have to check for that.
You must register for TOEFL if you want to appear for the test.
Good Luck!

However, The conducting body of TOEFL has ceased the policy of TOEFL scholarship. ETS no longer provides the scholarship for Indian test takers; rather a new concept of Grants and Awards has been devised.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- ETS has not specified eligibility criteria for the exam. It can be taken by anybody who wish to study or work in foreign countries.
