Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s degree (Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto (any candidate with 49.99% or fewer marks would not be eligible) and 45% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped Categories(any candidate with 44.99% or fewer marks would not be eligible ) from a recognized University established by law in India are eligible for admission to the program.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
