Kumaresh International B.Ed. College, Palamu is one of the leading teacher training colleges of Rajwadih, Daltonganj, Jharkhand started during the academic year 2009-10. It is affiliated college which is NAAC accredited and recognized by NCTE, National Council for Teacher Education. Located within an area of 1.25 acres the college has been offering three full time courses, 220 students intake and twenty two faculty members at present. It offers B.Ed, M.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes in pre-requisites and aspiring teachers in different capacities.

Kumaresh International B.Ed. College has a number of amenities through technological installation devised for the improvement of the student’s learning forum. The school library was established in 2000 and contains over 5,300 books, current local and international periodicals, references and educational multimedia and can comfortably seat 50 students in the reading area. The over head projectors, LCD projectors, and other audio visual equipment is demonstrated in the it infrastructure of 35 personal computers with the contemporary configurations. There are appropriately developed practical science, psychology, and social science laboratories for practical sessions in the college. The students also can have access to sports grounds, gym, and an auditorium for students’ activities and other objectives. All sections of the campus are Wi-Fi connected, thereby guaranteeing coupled internet connection for students and faculty.

The courses offered in Kumaresh International B.Ed. College include three full time course. The course with the highest admission is the B.Ed with a capacity of 100 students, the M.Ed and the D.El.Ed have fifty students each. This has raised the total student enrolment to 200 all over the academic courses offered in the school. This is seen from the fact that the college is a teacher education college in that all courses offered are related to the education field in one way or another.

Kumaresh International B.Ed. College admission procedure is based on merit, wherein the marks scored by the candidate in the Integrated Professional Competence Examination and/or any entrance examination. Considering the admission policy of the state government, UT administration and the university, admission to the B.Ed programme is offered. The D.El.Ed programme also has the same process; they follow the state government or UT administration norms. Elective M.Ed Admissions are made based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, entrance test, or any other mode as prescribed by the state government, university or UT administration. Kumaresh International B.Ed. College has facilities of hostels separately for Boys & Girls to provide comfortable stay along with hygienic food and purified drinking water. This alongside other facilities that include canteen, accommodation for students and guest, and transport infrastructure all helps in the provision of a seventeenth century conducive learning atmosphere. It also supports an alumni association by providing communication between students of the current year and alumni of the same institution. Academic facilities of Kumaresh International B.Ed.
