Infrastructure of college is very friendly and appealing, ideal for study. Though there could be more refined versions of classes. College can have more sports centre as right now we only have basketball court.
They teach very professionally and gives both theoretical as well as practical knowledge of subjects. They have evenly divided the course between the semesters and there are so many references available for it.
Alumni are placed very well and doing well in their fields of subject. Doke of them are extremely good and have their name in their kind of work. Though there are very less in campus placements. Most of them are off campus.
It is fore sure value for money as the government college have misconceptions that they cost less so they are jot well maintained and they do not teach well. But they are very well maintained and ofcourse the teaching is also good.
Our campus have beautiful ground and greenary all around where students never hesitate to chill. It feels good to sit in the ground and chat whenevr free. There are several societies in college which helps in enhancing skills.
College is very nice and most importantly it is located in the one of the best area of Delhi that is central delhi which makes it more fascinating. Very safe environment in the college from teachers, seniors etc. Every problem is heard and solved as soon as possible.
The college has a very clean and hygiene campus with all the facilities and equipments. They are well maintained and are used regularly to make studying and teaching easier for the students as well as teachers.
I am pursuing bsc home science honors and the teachers here are excellent at their work and help us alot. The curriculum is updated regularly and includes all the recent developments in all the departments.
The students from this college are placed in great companies and are offered good packages. The placement process gets very easy and pleasant just by the name of college. The variety of courses eases the process
Yes,Lady Irwin college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilitates and equipment. For example, we have good laboratories with well equipped instruments and tools. Our classrooms give a historical look with red bricked walls. Libraries contain all the books of each course with a good sitting arrangement. Our Campus has good sport centres with wifi facilities all around the campus. We have peculiar hostel facility too within the campus.
Yes, the anomalous part of this college is the course provided by it. The college has mainly 3 courses for bachelor with their specialisations in masters. I have persuaded for B.Sc. hons. Home Science. The reason for opting this is to become a dietician. But the golden part for this course is that it provides you 5 fields to make your career in any of it like •FN •HDCS •RMDA •DCE • FAS. The faculty of all these fields are expert on their own. There is a good placements options in our collage.
The quality of placements in our college is good. As per my understanding, around 80% of the students get placed. But for better placements, it is good to do graduation as well as masters in the specialised fields. My course B.Sc. Hons. Home science offers around 10k-45k per month. One of my senior just got placed on the name of the college. So yes there is pleasant placements option in our campus. And college is supportive too in order to get placed.
My course costs around 27k per annum for 1st year. And it is 22k per annum for 2nd and 3rd year. And I think that in this amount, it is worthy to study in this prestigious college of DU with NIRF 32 ranking. The faculty is supportive and experts in their fields.
Lady Irwin College with red bricks portrays the British era of Indian history. The campus has greenery all around within and outside it. It is located near Mandi House metro station, good for transportation. It is located near bengali market ,SRC and museums etc. It has good amount of visiting places. Our college has good reputation. It has 13 societies and they conduct their programmes and activities all around the year. We have fest called Quintessence and DJ evening too.
As I am in 2nd year. And I have my whole first semester in college. It was really a wonderful experience and as I am a hosteller so it gave a different spark in my college life. I had met different people of different opinions amd perspectives. However, it's only a girls college but this the most peculiar part of this college. You have whole freedom to wear anything without thinking for once and you can wonder all the college with liberty. I love my college for several reasons.
The infrastructure is really amazing. Talking about the classes, we have air conditioned classrooms, there is a Basket Ball Court, a Front Lawn, wifi enabled campus. There is a hostel too in the campus which is well maintained.
Currently I'm pursuing BSc Hons Food Technology. I found this subject really interesting so I opted for it. The faculty is really great and our curriculum is also well updated and includes recent developments in this field.

My course per year costed me Rs 29,645. I think I am getting my money's worth because I am really enjoying my course and the teachers also clear all the concepts and they even entertain our doubts and clear them.
The campus life at Lady Irwin College is really amazing. The seniors are really cooperative and helpful. Talking about activities, our college has a lot of clubs which provide opportunity to each and every interested student.
The infrastructure of the college is absolutely loving. It is very good there are a lot of washrooms and the best part is you will always find them clean. There is free wifi on the campus, the library is also very spacious and there is computer software to locate the books. All the buildings are beautiful, the classrooms are spacious and good. It is a huge campus with beautiful lawns and amphitheater. There are nice departments. Everything is well maintained and good.
I am studying b.sc hons home science. I chose this because i was always keen in it and want to pursue my career as a dietitian. The curriculum of the college well updated. The teaching faculty is amazing. The teachers are really helpful be it anything either on campus or off campus work. They guide their students very well. There is placement cells for the post graduates. The syllabus is up to date. Variety of creative group projects and assignments are given to students to enhance them.
Placements and internships are available for the post graduates but not for the under graduates. A lot of students from our course were placed. The average placement package is of about 3-4 lacs. There are many fields and opportunities open for the students after studies. It is a really good thing.
According to me it is totally worth it. Around 20k annually. I really think it’s decent and affordable. We get all the good facilities and sources.
The campus life is amazing. The college is located in central Delhi which is definitely a plus point for students and their friends. The annual cultural festival i.e. Quintessence is the highlight of every year. It is so much fun, it has dj night, concert, so many activities. The college has many societies that the students can join and learn a lot in different things apart from academics. The campus is huge and beautiful. Students come from all over so the environment of the college is lovely.
Only thing i want to say that this college is worth it. The experience you’ll get here is something that you will never regret.
The infrastructure is very good. There is cleanliness and hygiene both. Even the classrooms , library, basketball court , front and back lawns and laboratories are well maintained. There is wifi facility also which is good.
I’m in B.Sc.(Hons.) Home science. The teachers of that course are very knowledgeable and cooperative. The way they teach us not only gives theoritical knowledge but also gives practical knowledge also.
I have no idea about placements of my college since I’m in 2nd year only but yes the way they teach us it help will surely help us during internship and job interviews. So , college will help in the placement in some or the other way.
The fees is approximately 20,000 per year which is justified as we have practical classes and theory classes both.
There are different societies in our college which help in personality development and entertainment both. Also , our college is present in central delhi which is very safe.
Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, equipment, we have clean and huge classrooms , laboratories, library, basket ball court, hostel, wifi free campus, smart boards, etc . They are all used and well maintained.
I am persuing bsc.home science pass course and teachers are good here and highly educated with quality of experience. Curriculum develops in every two or three years and gets updates now and for better study
We do have an official placement cell , and we do also have placement fair once a year for getting internship , i have no other knowledge about it, so i would not like to speak further to make it look bad
My course was around 23,000/- per year, and this course infact this college is worth everythng
Campus life is the best here, love and aesthetic ambiance, flooded with greenery around and fresh air, staff and student relationship is very good here , as teachers are very supportive, location is very prime Nd its is absolutely safe
Overall this college is worth taking admission
The College's Infrastructure is so amazing and spacious. It has all kinds of facilities from Library to Basketball court, Hostels, Laboratories, Seminar Rooms, etc. Its has as canteen too and sitting area for the same.
The College is the Best in Asia and comprising of very smart and helpful teachers. I am studying Home Science Honours which is 3 year course and I selected the same because it comprises of many subjects and specialization which in turn gives you more alternatives and opportunities. The curriculum keeps on updating but in a slow manner.
There is no such placement cells in the college but here teacher help and refer and guide the Students for the same. And many students like me after completing Bachelors most of them opt of doing futher studies like Masters in their specific subject or doing any other degree courses, etc.
The fees that we give is a bit high than other colleges of Delhi University but for me it's worth it because of the facilities and faculty members. Its around 38000 per year. We doesn't have pay much after the fees. But it depends on person to person. For me it's fine and worth it
The college campus life is amazing. The college location is Central Delhi which is because college has numerous spots for Students and their friends to chill. I am pursuing bsc home science (pass). This college is the best in Delhi and one of the best in country the country. Doing just graduation in this field is not enough, they study mainly 5 subjects which are food and nutrition, human development, resource management, textile, communication and extension.
I've been a student of this college for 3 years now I've never heard of placement atleast for undergraduate students. There is no placements provided by college and if there is placement this is not very visual.
The course fee for bsc home science varies 22-26k per year which is not that cheap when compared to other Delhi University College but then its not too much and the infrastructure provided by the college is worth the money.
