  • Registration for placement: Candidates interested in participating in the recruitment drive have to register with the placement cell of the college and submit all required documents.
  • Pre Placement Talk: The companies deliver a pre-placement talk on the fixed date as mentioned in the schedule for the students in order to make them aware of the basic policies, work environment and give an insight into the company.
  • Conduction of Tests: After the pre-placement talk tests are taken such as aptitude test, technical test, etc and students qualifying the test make a move to the next stage of the recruitment drive.
  • Group Discussion: After qualifying the written round, recruiters give a topic to the selected students in a group for the Group Discussion to judge the communication and speaking skills of students.
  • Interview: Further, the candidates have to qualify for the interview taken by the companies so that the recruiters can judge the overall personality of the candidates and ensure that candidate is suitable for the job. 
  • Final Placement:  The students who qualify for all the stages of the recruitment process are offered jobs by the recruiting company.

It's good and fun

Placements

The placement in my college and of my department are not very ideal. Salaries which are offered to students are low and unfair. And the college is not helpful that much. There are no placement cells in my college.

The admission to BSc Hons. Chemistry course in DU ( Delhi University ) is totally based on your class 12th marks. An aggregate of 60% or more marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% or more marks in English is required for admission. And also, while filling the application form for BSc , you have to fill the aggregate percentage there. Your ranking will be based on your class 12th marks.
