Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Optometry is a four-year (Three Academic Years and One-year compulsory internship) full-time undergraduate course offered by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala, or examinations recognized equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English put together, are eligible with the usual relaxation allowed by Government of Kerala for SC/ST and Socially and Educationally Backward Community (SEBC) candidates.

College Infrastructure

I like the college and it’s facilities, they are very good. What I feel sad is that there’s no separate college building, college campus and playground. That’s sad for me as I fantasised these things post school.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average. Classrooms are in the eye block of the hospital itself and not a separate building. Projectors are there in classrooms. There is no playground or sports center. There is no wifi.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is average. Classrooms are a part of one of the hospital building. An old building does exist but only labs of the building are utilised when necessary. Facilities are less. Library is small. Living spaces are clean.
