About Institution Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm), Greater Noida is one of the finest institutions sine 2004 in the field of pharmacy situated in Uttar Pradesh, India. This affiliated college, PCI approved and AICTE recognized, provides various pharmaceutical courses. Located in a large area of 10 acres of land, the institute has a team of 58 faculty members. At present, the student strength of the institute is 497 of which 87 percent are undergraduate students and 13 percent are post graduate students. It has provided 4 courses taught at 3 levels of degrees concentrating in several areas of pharmaceutical sciences.
They are wellsourced landmark institute and fully equipped with updated facilities to meet the students’ academic and personality enhancement needs. The tertiary facilities consist of well-resourced computer laboratories with internet connection to support course activities such as programming and networks, and web development. The library area is 3600 sq ft with spacious multi faceted book shelves and stack areas containing number of books, periodicals and reference documents in the discipline of pharmacy with encyclopedias, pharmacopoeias and other national and international journals of repute. To address interschool activities and other programmes and events the institute has a multi –facility hall with a seating capacity of four hundred and well equipped with audio and visual aids. It also has a comfortable air-conditioned canteen system that supplies foods and snacks that meet and suit the tastes of learners.
Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm) has well equipped pharmacy faculty providing students multiple courses in pharmacy. The institute offers 4 full-time programs which offers two under graduate courses and two post graduate courses. Under graduate program includes a 4-year B.Pharma course with a total intake of 100 students and a 2-year D.Pharma course with an intake of 60 students. The institute offers two postgraduate programs: 1. M.Pharma (Quality Assurance) – 18 seats – 2 years 2. M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics) – 18 seats – 2 years. A total approved intake for all courses stands at 196 students. The current year total graduates are not stated but the emphasis on quality in the training of pharmacy professionals from this institute ensures production of well equipped pharmacy professionals into the job market.
Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm) has developed various admission procedures that help in choosing qualified and able students to join its various pharmacy courses. For B.Pharmacy duration the institute allows UPCET entrance exam scores. Though dates for admission are not discussed, the intending candidates are encouraged to follow schedules of UPCET examination and the admission thereafter.
