Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharms), Greater Noida, is a noted institution that offers pharmaceutical courses. The institute adopts a merit-based admission policy for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. Admission is based on the entrance exams to merit-based selection. University Opens For Admission Through Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) For The Under- Graduate Programs Held By The Government Of Uttar Pradesh. Eligible Ones Are Those Candidates Who Have Passed Their 10+2 With Physics, Chemistry, And Mathematics/Biology. The Institute Also Grants Admission Through Direct Enrolment Into Vacant Seats Or Through Management Quota As Per The Merit Of 10+2."

For postgraduate programs, candidates who possess a valid GPAT Score conducted by AICTE and those who qualify through the separate entrance test conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow (FATE) are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Pharm programs. A B.Pharm degree holder can apply for M.Pharm programs. The admission process generally starts with the announcement of the entrance exam results. It provides for a counseling process in which candidates take part, and the seats are allotted to the candidates.

Application Process

The application process for Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm), Greater Noida shall differ from program to program and admission types.

For B.Pharm and D.Pharm programs:

  1. Appear for the UPCET (for B.Pharm) or UPJEE (for D.Pharm) entrance examination.
  2.  After the declaration of results, register for counseling sessions.

For M.Pharm programs:

Admission Procedure at a Glance-Degree-wise

For the B.Pharm program, the Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharm) admits 100 students on the basis of UPCET score or directly on management quota dependent on 10+2 merit. This program is for 4 years.

For D.Pharm, the institute has an intake of 60 seats. Admissions are done by Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) or directly by filling vacant seats based on 10+2 merit. The duration of the program is for 2 years.

M.Pharm in Quality Assurance: 15 seats are available for this postgraduate program with a duration of 2 years. Admissions are based on the GPAT score or the FATE entrance test conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics: 15 seats are available for this Course. Admissions are done by Counseling based on UPSEE Rank/Score and also Directly through Management Quota based on Graduation Merit. Course Duration is of 2 Years.

M.Pharm in Pharmacology: 15 seats are available for this postgraduate program with a duration of 2 years. Admissions are either based on GPAT scores or by FATE entrance testing.

The documents required for admission comprise:

  • Entrance exam score card (UPCET/UPJEE/GPAT/FATE as applicable)
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (for M.Pharm applicants)
  • Transfer certificate and migration certificate
  • Character certificate
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Recent passport-size photographs.
