Lord Krishna Polytechnic College was set up in 2003 and is affiliated to I.K.G.P.T.U, Jalandhar in city of Kapurthala in Punjab. Recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) the institute provide the various Diploma courses in Engineering and Technology. Located on a complex of 5 acres, the college admits 344 students in total and has 32 teachers. There are seventeen full time diploma courses offered by Lord Krishna Polytechnic College, which bestows instructional programs in several fields of engineering for technician and engineering course seeker’s population of the region.

The college can proudly indicate a vast array of resources and conditions that will contribute to students’ successful learning and development. These include; provision of individual hostels for boys and girls so that distant students find comfortable accommodation. The school boasts of a functional library to give students all the course materials they require to make healthy study progress.

Every department benefits from state-of-the-art laboratories which include practical sessions in the real sense of the word. An efficient cafeteria is provided for high quality and healthy meals for students and a health centre playing a role of a mini-hospital as it includes first aid facilities for students. It also provides for the recreational need with several sporting fields and a gym. Also, infrastructure with the appropriate IT facilities is well developed and facilitates new learning techniques and the advancement that a learner should be aware of.

Lord Krishna Polytechnic College has fully approved seven full-time diploma courses and all these courses are on a regular basis. There is still no part-time, online, or certification program available in theCollege at the present time. According to the approved intake for all the courses, RIT offers 660 seats for technical education to the interested candidates. Information on the number of graduates for the latest year is lacking, but the students’ oriented curricula offer professional practices effectively addressing employment in students’ fields of choice.
