The affiliated college, Madhira Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) was established in the year 2001 is located in Kodad,Dist :Ranga Reddy State :Telangana. With class locations stretching over a significant area of about 14 acres, MITS provides a combination of various programmes. This institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to provide quality technical education in diverse frame such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer, Management etc. MITS has the capacity of 679 students and 149 faculties with a good learning environment. Currently, the institute teaches 22 courses in six degree programmes focusing on engineering, pharmacy, and management fields.

To support the programme, MITS has several facilities that will improve the learning environment of students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls available for out door students with reasonable charges for convenience accommodation. A rich library centre, helps to foster the knowledge centre of a student whereas, well establish laboratory fulfills the practical part of learning sessions. Its student care policy is enshrined in a health center with provisions for first aid facilities in the institute. In as much as fitness is concerned, the college facilities an on-campus gym. Further, there is also provision of events and seminars by possessing an auditorium and ensuring a lively college atmosphere. Facilities: Technology, Computer services and internet enable students to access the internet facilities provided as well as other information technology services. A cafeteria means provisions of hygienic foods while for students who travel to school transport facilities are availed for the same. Sports facilities helps student to engage in physical exercise and unity among students through a team.

This institute provides all types of courses having 22 full-time programmes at different stages of education. These include, programmes like; Bachelor of Technology B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering as well as Mechanical Engineering. In PG level, MITS offers Master of Technology (M, Tech) in specific areas of specialisation such as Embedded systems, Machine Design, VLSI etc. It also provides MBA programme and various diploma course in engineering disciplines. Thus, MITS has offered new course in different fields such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science at B.Tech level. The total approved intake for all the courses stands at 679 students indicating the institutes ability to produce a large number of professional.

MITS also ensure that their admission process is thorough and that great consideration is given into the admission process. The major stream offered to the B.Tech programmes is through the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). Technological and vocational subjects admitting through Diploma courses consider Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TSPOLYCET) score. The candidates having some interest in MBA courses must have to undertake the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET). TS PGECET stands for Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance test which is the major admission test for postgraduate engineering courses in Telangana. The mentioned tests help to ensure that all candidates with abilities and potential get a chance to study the intended programmes at MITS. Continuing with the institute’s support for education faculty, the MITS Alumni Association also participates in facilitating relationships between existing and former students.
