NEET College Predictor
ApplyKnow possible Govt/Private MBBS/BDS Colleges based on your NEET rank
Hello,
It seems you're a medical aspirant and I presume your query is for NEET, in order to appear for this exam candidates are required to have 50% PCB aggregate which is inclusive of theory and practical for UR, 40% in case of SC/ST/OBC and 45% in case of PwD, apart from having Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology/Biology and English as core subjects, attain 17 years as on 31st December of appearing year, final year candidates can also apply, there is no upper age limit hence no restrictions in terms of attempts as of now as the verdict is pending in supreme court regarding age criteria.
Now, coming to your question, your neet marks are going to be a criteria for getting colleges whether it's through AIQ or state, hence you need to clear the cutoffs against your respective category, 12th marks are only needed to appear for the exam as in terms of fulfilling the eligibility criteria to appear for NEET, even from last year JIPMER and AIIMS conduct admission through NEET.
hello aspirant,
As of now it's tough to say what could be the cutoff because every year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc factors.but based on previous year analysis and your rank, category we can help you with your query. as you did not mention your category considering you from general category, now the last year cutoff the cutoff for madras medical college for obc category is 625+,considering all india quota as you belong to other state.target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu
hope this helps,
thankyou.

Hello,MMC is the top ranked institution in state of Tamilnadu.Since it is a governent institution it is mandatory that the admission happens only through neet exam. The previous year cut off rank is as follows
general -1611 ; OBC- 1611;SC -28603;ST-39785;EWS-1611;PWD-934
To know more about the institution kindly check this link https://www.careers360.com/colleges/madras-medical-college-chennai
Best of luck.
Both the colleges you have mentioned are extremely good with their level of medical undergraduate education and christian medical college well all is well-known to give hands-on experience with the most of the clinical techniques and also train student sequential in preclinical and paraclinical subjects
Madras medical college is also one of the premier medical colleges in the states and preferred by many students sensor is a government medical college and gives more patient exposed also Christian medical college Vellore also has a big turnover of patients throughout the year but being a private medical college only 15 out of 100 students who admitted in every batch at the MBBS level are general category students
the entrance is definitely tougher for Christian medical college Vellore and if you qualify in it I would advise you to try for it but talking practically it is much easier to secure a chance into Madras medical college via Neet
Dear aspirant
I would suggest to you to go for Aiims Bhopal. Aiims are having there different standard as compared to other medical colleges.
Aiims would give you great career opportunity and you explore many new things.
Aiims provides many different opportunities to the student to participate in national and international conferences as well as exchange programmes
All the best.
Hey,
Different state has a provision that includes that the students are required to sign a bond with the government that involves serving the state for a specific period of time as decided by the government itself.
If failed to do so the candidates required to pay a penalty amount to the state. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, failing to serve the candidate is required to pay a penalty amount of 10 lakhs to the government.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hi. This is the expected cut off for the medical colleges you mentioned. If data is not available for the EWS category, the cut off will be there for general category (as the cut off for other reserved categories is usually lower)
1. Bangalore Medical College- UR- 567 marks
2. Madras Medical College- 618 marks (UR)
You can get into any of the above mentioned college, but the cut off will be a bith higher this year
Infrastructure was very good in terms of clinical resources and patient inflow.Hostel was not upto the mark in the first year which was later rectified when a new hostel building was opened..College and library had everything we could ask for
The college infrastructure is not upto the mark and it doesn’t have proper campus. The college in general is clean and have decent hygienic conditions. The classrooms are very congested for a strength of 250 students.
