With a rank of 752 in the IPU CET for the BA (Hons.) Economics program, your prospects of securing admission to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) are promising. In the previous year, the cut-off ranks for MAIMS in the BA (Hons.) Economics program were as follows:
Round 1: 263
Round 3: 509
Given that your rank of 752 is within this range, you have a strong chance of obtaining a seat in the program.
Next Steps:
1. Official Notifications: Regularly monitor the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotment.
2. Counseling Participation: Engage in the counseling process as per the guidelines provided by GGSIPU.
3. Document Verification: Ensure all necessary documents are ready for verification during the counseling process.
By following these steps, you can enhance your chances of securing admission to MAIMS for the BA (Hons.) Economics program.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round of IPU B.Com (H) admissions with a rank of 3190 is highly unlikely.
These colleges are among the most sought-after in IPU, and competition for seats, especially in the spot round, is intense. Candidates with significantly higher ranks usually secure seats in these institutions.
However, it's advisable to participate in the spot round counseling. There's always a possibility of unexpected seat availability due to various reasons.
If you don't secure a seat in MAIMS or VIPS, explore other good colleges within IPU. There are several reputable colleges offering B.Com (H) programs that can provide quality education.
Focus on your preferences and priorities while selecting a college. Consider factors like location, infrastructure, faculty, and placement records.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round with a rank of 3190, being from outside Delhi, is challenging but not impossible.
Factors influencing your chances:
To increase your chances:
Remember, the spot round is highly competitive, and securing a seat in a top college like MAIMS or VIPS might be difficult. Be prepared for alternative options.

When comparing VIPS (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies) and MAIMS (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies) for a BBA program, both institutions have their strengths, and the choice depends on various factors including academic quality, campus facilities, and career prospects.
VIPS : Located in Delhi, VIPS is well-regarded for its professional programs and has a reputation for providing a solid foundation in business management. The institute offers good infrastructure, experienced faculty, and a range of extracurricular activities. Its proximity to the capital city also provides ample internship and job opportunities.
MAIMS : Also situated in Delhi, MAIMS is known for its focus on holistic education and student development. It offers a comprehensive BBA curriculum with a strong emphasis on practical experience and industry exposure. The institute has modern facilities and provides various opportunities for student engagement and career development.
Ultimately, both institutes offer quality education, but VIPS may have a slight edge in terms of brand reputation and industry connections, which could be advantageous for career prospects. MAIMS, on the other hand, emphasizes a well-rounded approach to education. It’s advisable to visit the campuses, talk to current students or alumni, and consider which institution aligns best with your career goals and personal preferences.
hope this helps you!!

HELLO,
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is really good and there's a possibility you can find good people there.
The faculty is good and they have a great campus. They provide placements too and the college comes in top ones of GGSIPU, so overall you will find it good.
Hello,
If you got MAIMS then it is very good because according to this year's IPUCET BBA cutoffs, getting into top 5 colleges of GGSIPU is really good. There is still a chance of getting into VIPS if you float your seat till the spot round only if there are seats vacant in the university. Otherwise MAIMS is really not a bad option.
Maims is without a doubt the worst college known to mankind It is spotify of colleges The educa Is abysmal the professors barely teach And specially the commerce department faculty is the worst they literally make grudges with their own students i mean what kind of adult keep grudges with a person who isn’t even half their age Really mature of you guys really
The college infrastructure is very good Very well maintained and developed The college campus is beautifully designed perfect blend of modern architecture and nature greenery The classroom and washrooms are well maintained and built
Yes, our college has a very good infrastructure. We have projectors as well as white boards in classrooms which facilitates learning. The living spaces food are all hygienic. We have common rooms which has many games. There are separate libraries for law students and other courses.
