The college infrastructure is moderate but they have necessary equipments. They have libraries, sports centers and hostels and wifi facilities. All things are used and well maintained. The living spaces are good and the food is very hygienic.
Im currently pursuing BJMC. the quality of teachers are good. The curriculum is updates according to the latest syllabus which comes from the Indraprastha University. Yes my study makes us job ready.
I don't know much about the placement cell but according to me the placements are good. Our college is very supportive with the placements as they circulate new opportunities in every class group of the college.
My course cost per year is 1,30,000 INR. My money is worth it because I feel the campus life is amazing and they also have everything which is necessary and well maintained and the staff is also supportive.
The campus life is outstanding. They organize different workshops and cultural fest in which students get exposure. The students are also good and the teachers are helpful. Its location is a little odd but it can handle emergencies very efficiently.
The college infrastructure is great they have the necessary equipment’s and facilities as well like WiFi, smart boards which work readily and are well maintained. The living spaces are also clean and and the food is quite hygienic.
I’m currently pursuing BBA because i have interest in business management. The quality of teaching of this college is great. According to me the curriculum is updated according to the university and there are no delays.
The quality of placements according to the seniors and to the best of my knowledge is nice. The average package offered to a student is between 10-12 lakhs P.A. Moreover great companies are a part of these placements.
My course per annum cost is 1,15,000 INR According to me this college is value for money because it has all the necessary resources and it is well maintained with a great college campus. Moreover it has good placements.
The college campus is very big and the campus life is amazing, starting from canteen with all variety of food to every little thing they have. They also have designated sports centre for each sport which is commonly played.
Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure with all modern equipment’s and facilities. The staff is also very helpful and kind in nature. WiFi and smart boards are also there in our college and are fully working
I’m pursuing BBA LLB and it’s a very good course and the quality of teachers are also very good. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes what we study makes the job ready.
The placements are very good of this college as per my sources. 60% of the students were placed last year and highest package offered was 24 lakh per annum and it went to my course only. The placement process was also very easy.
My course is BBA LLB and my course charges per year is 2,00,000 INR. I feel it’s worth my money because it has good reputation in Delhi and I will gain good experience after doing my course from this college.
Our campus is very big and it is the best thing about our college. Our college campus has every thing starting from football, basketball, cricket ground to pool table stands and amazing food at canteen.it is very safe and handle emergencies
The college infrastructure isn't all that great. It lacks proper planning and execution as the building is 9 floors high and there are just two lifts installed out of which only one is functional at a time most of the time, it gets extremely crowded and the queue is long for the lift. In terms of the architecture of the building, it's not great either. It's a very regular plain building and displays no character of the institution. It doesn't seem like a lot of thought was put into designing the building. Classrooms are pretty average with school-like seats and a plain whiteboard. The air conditioning works at its will and the wifi password of the campus wifi promised in the prospectus to the students during admission is never provided to them and since the network in the college building is really weak it causes trouble. The sports facilities are virtually not present most of the time. The gym and other sports equipments are in a terrible condition and the media lab of our department is out dated to a huge degree.
I believe the curriculum provided to us is more or less fine and fairly practical. However, the quality of teachers is at both extremes. While there are some professors who are really amazing whose guidance will do you a lot of benefits and they teach pretty efficiently and whose advice you should adhere to as they are very relevant and helpful in the industry, there are a couple of them who are good for nothing and are there just to satisfy their egos. If you're good at shoelicking (sometimes also bribe them) they will do you favours or else will constantly place obstacles in your path. The others lie somewhere in between and are good instructors or teachers but you can't rely on them for industry-related advice or guidance.
I have not graduated yet and haven't gotten much intel about the placement scenario from the graduated seniors hence I don't know much about the placement setup. However, from my experience, I can say that average to good companies do arrive at placement fairs to offer internships to the students. But they are there to virtually exploit the student market. They offer stipends in pennies and expect the interns to work like full-time employees. This notion of the companies is appreciated by the placement cell which isn't really in much favour of the students and they do so just to boost their stats. Moreover, in our department, they also don't provide attendance to the students who are interning for exposure and experience which discourages the students from taking up internships as they will later be penalised for low attendance.
I have paid around 3.5 lakhs for my three-year course which I would say is more than what should be the amount paid and I am not getting my money's worth. It's not absolutely waste but it's not really up to the mark either. The experiences and curriculum are good. Some professors are good. But, a handful of professors ruin your college life single-handedly. The constant obstacles they put in your progress are frustrating. The support from the placement cell and the facilities for various activities aren't great either. Moreover, the college authorities aren't really keen to invest any money in the interest of the students. The value you do get from your money is the network you create among students and some good professors which are handy for your future but you should be utmost careful while picking them.
The campus life is pretty good. There are several college societies with varying types of people and you'll find your bunch, Though the societies aren't really supported by the college they operate quite well. You can't expect them to be perfect but they are fine. More than the operations, its the exposure and opportunities they provide that are good.
The infrastructure of my college is pretty decent. Uhm the hygiene is properly maintained in all the classes, the air conditioners are also in working condition. I also enjoy the connectivity of the college to local markets, cinemas and food outlets around it.
The professors of the college are specialized in their respective fields and always seek to assist students in which ever way possible. They also provide guidance to us for better future planning after the college.
The placement cell of my college is quite active and always seek to bring many companies in the college for recruitment. It also helps the students with finding Internships and mock rounds of private Interview to get the job.
According to me, this college is a bit expensive than it should be. Although, it provides me almost every kind of help I needed through time to time, the faculty is also supportive to me, so ya. If you are a studious, I feel this college will suit you well.
The campus is pretty huge and maintained. I enjoy the greenery which is well taken care of by the gardeners of the college. Also, the college is located nearby local markets and malls, I enjoy my outside campus life too.
For me, It's a decent experience, but if you are getting a better opportunity than this, I will suggest you should go for it. For students who are into studies, this college might suit you well..
MAIMS has a well-maintained infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a library, seminar halls, and labs. The campus is also surrounded by greenery, with nearby parks adding to its peaceful environment.
MAIMS provides decent to good academic quality, especially in the law department, with a comprehensive curriculum and experienced faculty. The well-equipped library supports research, and regular seminars enhance learning.Additionally, the surrounding greenery and nearby parks create a peaceful and conducive environment for studying.
Well since I am in the 1st year of my college, I don't know much about the placement. But, I have talked to my seniors and they said that the placement cell of law department helps the students with their internships and mock interviews, so I think it's a decent thing.
According to me, this college is a bit expensive than it should be. Although, it provides me almost every kind of help I needed through time to time, the faculty is also supportive to me, so ya. If you are a studious person, I feel this college will suit you well
The greenery in the campus is well maintained and always taken care of by time to time. I also enjoy eating food from the canteen of the college. The professors are very understanding and cooperative. So ya, I am enjoying my campus life very much. Just the only negative point is the connectivity of the college in my college. Otherwise, the campus life is really good.. Also there are multiple societies that the students can join which may help them to gain more exposure.
Its a great college in my opinion for law students, having a great experience here till now. The infrastructure , the environment, the faculty , the seniors and everything else has been really nice. Lets hope for the best in future.
The infrastructure of my college is pretty good in my opinion. The hygiene is properly maintained in all the classes, the air conditioners are also in working condition, the labs are fully equipped and the library contains the latest books.
The professors of the law department are very nice and cooperative. They also are knowledgable in their respective fields. I was really comfortable in approaching to them and they assisted me with my problem in every possible way they could.
Well since I am in the 1st year of my college, I don't know much about the placement. But, I have talked to my seniors and they said that the placement cell of law department helps the students with their internships and mock interviews, so I think it's a decent thing.
Well I enjoyed my college life till now, whether in terms of academics, infrastructure, and campus... I liked everything till now. So for me, pursuing BA LLB from MAIMS is worth it in my opinion. So, if you are into academics as well, you'll like this college as well.
The greenery in the campus is well maintained and always taken care of by time to time. I also enjoy eating food from the canteen of the college. The professors are very understanding and cooperative. So ya, I am enjoying my campus life very much. Just the only negative point is the connectivity of the college in my college. Its a great college in my opinion for law students, having a great experience here till now. Lets hope for the best in future.
The infrastructure of my college is pretty decent. The hygiene is properly maintained in all the classes, the air conditioners are also in working condition. The drawbacks are that there is limited connectivity to food outlets and cinemas. The washrooms are not well maintained rest the classrooms are clean and tidy.
The professors of the college are specialized in their respective fields and always seek to assist students in which ever way possible. They also provide guidance to us for better future planning after the college. But few of the professors aren't good with the teaching stuff , rest of the professors are great with their work.
The placement cell of my college is quite active and always seek to bring many companies in the college for recruitment. But the college hasn't been able to recruit larger company with higher lpa to the campus placement.
According to me, this college is a bit expensive than it should be. Although, it provides me almost every kind of help I needed through time to time, the faculty is also very supportive to me. If you are very studious, I feel this college will suit you well.
The campus is pretty huge and maintained. I enjoy the greenery which is well taken care of by the gardeners of the college. But the college location is a main issue as it is located near the begumpur village there is less places for outing and the outside campus life is not that great. The travel expense to come to the college is also high.
For me, It's a decent experience, but if you are getting a better opportunity than this, I will suggest you should go for it. For students who are into studies, this college might suit you well. This college is an average college as per me and might seem overrated but it is good to go with.
The infrastructure of MAIMS is well-maintained actually. The proper care of hygiene is ensured in all the classes, the air conditioners are also in working condition. Although, there is only one building which comes under the management branch, which is a one of the major down-points.
The professors of the college are educated and knowledgable in their respective fields and always seek to assist students in which ever way possible. They also provide guidance to us for better future planning after the college.
The placement cell of business administration department is quite active and always seek to bring many companies in the college for recruitment. It also helps the students with finding Internships and mock rounds of private Interview to get the job.
Well for me, the fees is a bit expensive as since it is affiliated to a ipu university which comes under state government. But the college provides mostly all the facilities to the students who seek to study in the college.
The campus is pretty huge and well maintained in my opinion. But, due to its poor connectivity, it's really difficult to travel to other places such as mall, market, etc. Since the nearest metro to this college is around 7 km aways, it's really hard for the students who travel through metro.
Not much
The infrastructure for BBA is decent, though it varies across DU colleges. The libraries and study halls are maintained and stocked with relevant books. However, some classrooms and labs feel a bit outdated and need modernization.
The academics at the institute are engaging with high emphasis on core business concepts. The faculty members are really very experienced, but sometimes certain courses need more case studies and interactive sessions. Guest lectures and workshops kind of make the whole process interesting.
It depends upon the college that one is going to; bigger colleges are doing more for placements, whereas in smaller colleges, one will have to take all initiatives. The average package offered is reasonable and opportunities exist for students who wish to join startups.
As the fees of DU's BBA are very low, its alumina network is enormous, and value-for-money is a big advantage with this course. Provided a student is proactive enough to pursue the opportunities, resources and prospects are abundant.
The campus life is very vibrant and diverse, with abundant cultural and academic events. The campus environment allows personal growth in an inclusive atmosphere at DU. It feels safe for girls, though odd hours of commuting would require precautions.
Best part is there I have better faculty support who helps me in solving my personal and academic problems also
With a rank of 752 in the IPU CET for the BA (Hons.) Economics program, your prospects of securing admission to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) are promising. In the previous year, the cut-off ranks for MAIMS in the BA (Hons.) Economics program were as follows:
Round 1: 263
Round 3: 509
Given that your rank of 752 is within this range, you have a strong chance of obtaining a seat in the program.
Next Steps:
1. Official Notifications: Regularly monitor the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotment.
2. Counseling Participation: Engage in the counseling process as per the guidelines provided by GGSIPU.
3. Document Verification: Ensure all necessary documents are ready for verification during the counseling process.
By following these steps, you can enhance your chances of securing admission to MAIMS for the BA (Hons.) Economics program.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round of IPU B.Com (H) admissions with a rank of 3190 is highly unlikely.
These colleges are among the most sought-after in IPU, and competition for seats, especially in the spot round, is intense. Candidates with significantly higher ranks usually secure seats in these institutions.
However, it's advisable to participate in the spot round counseling. There's always a possibility of unexpected seat availability due to various reasons.
If you don't secure a seat in MAIMS or VIPS, explore other good colleges within IPU. There are several reputable colleges offering B.Com (H) programs that can provide quality education.
Focus on your preferences and priorities while selecting a college. Consider factors like location, infrastructure, faculty, and placement records.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round with a rank of 3190, being from outside Delhi, is challenging but not impossible.

Remember, the spot round is highly competitive, and securing a seat in a top college like MAIMS or VIPS might be difficult. Be prepared for alternative options.
