The college infrastructure isn't all that great. It lacks proper planning and execution as the building is 9 floors high and there are just two lifts installed out of which only one is functional at a time most of the time, it gets extremely crowded and the queue is long for the lift. In terms of the architecture of the building, it's not great either. It's a very regular plain building and displays no character of the institution. It doesn't seem like a lot of thought was put into designing the building. Classrooms are pretty average with school-like seats and a plain whiteboard. The air conditioning works at its will and the wifi password of the campus wifi promised in the prospectus to the students during admission is never provided to them and since the network in the college building is really weak it causes trouble. The sports facilities are virtually not present most of the time. The gym and other sports equipments are in a terrible condition and the media lab of our department is out dated to a huge degree.
The infrastructure of my college is pretty decent. Uhm the hygiene is properly maintained in all the classes, the air conditioners are also in working condition. I also enjoy the connectivity of the college to local markets, cinemas and food outlets around it.
MAIMS has a well-maintained infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a library, seminar halls, and labs. The campus is also surrounded by greenery, with nearby parks adding to its peaceful environment.
With a rank of 752 in the IPU CET for the BA (Hons.) Economics program, your prospects of securing admission to Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) are promising. In the previous year, the cut-off ranks for MAIMS in the BA (Hons.) Economics program were as follows:
Round 1: 263
Round 3: 509
Given that your rank of 752 is within this range, you have a strong chance of obtaining a seat in the program.
Next Steps:
1. Official Notifications: Regularly monitor the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for updates on counseling schedules and seat allotment.
2. Counseling Participation: Engage in the counseling process as per the guidelines provided by GGSIPU.
3. Document Verification: Ensure all necessary documents are ready for verification during the counseling process.
By following these steps, you can enhance your chances of securing admission to MAIMS for the BA (Hons.) Economics program.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round of IPU B.Com (H) admissions with a rank of 3190 is highly unlikely.
These colleges are among the most sought-after in IPU, and competition for seats, especially in the spot round, is intense. Candidates with significantly higher ranks usually secure seats in these institutions.
However, it's advisable to participate in the spot round counseling. There's always a possibility of unexpected seat availability due to various reasons.
If you don't secure a seat in MAIMS or VIPS, explore other good colleges within IPU. There are several reputable colleges offering B.Com (H) programs that can provide quality education.
Focus on your preferences and priorities while selecting a college. Consider factors like location, infrastructure, faculty, and placement records.
Securing a seat in MAIMS or VIPS through the second spot round with a rank of 3190, being from outside Delhi, is challenging but not impossible.

Remember, the spot round is highly competitive, and securing a seat in a top college like MAIMS or VIPS might be difficult. Be prepared for alternative options.
