Maharajah's College for Women, Vizianagaram, was established in 1879 and is one of the best women's institutions in Andhra Pradesh, India. This women's college has a campus spreads over 17.93 acres within an affiliated college accredited by NAAC. With a very long and rich history of over 140 years, it has been at the forefront in promoting women's education in the area as a whole. At present, it offers 16 courses across 5 degree programmes, with a total of 919 enrolments coming from a very diversified student body.
