Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Programs: Maharajahs College for Women has several B.Sc programs, among others, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Data Science, and Geology. The admissions process for these courses purely depends on the candidate's qualifying exam (10+2). The intake capacity is huge for these programs, the highest being B.Sc Computer Science Hons, with 300 seats, while followed by B.Sc Chemistry Hons (247).
B.Com Courses: The college provides B.Com Hons and B.Com Computer Applications Hons. Admission to these courses has been held by merit list prepared from qualifying examination marks. B.Com Computer Applications Hons has a higher intake of 120 seats as against 60 seats for B.Com Hons.
BBA Programs: Maharajahs College for Women has BBA Hons and BBA Business Analytics Hons. The admission process for the management courses is based on merit from 10+2 examination results. Both the programs have a seat intake of 60 each.
BA Programs: Economics and History are the disciplines for the BA programs in the college. Admission eligibility to these arts programs is through the merit list prepared from qualifying examination scores. Both BA Economics Hons and BA History Hons have an intake of 24 seats each.
M.Sc Programs: For post graduate studies, the college has M.Sc Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The admission procedure for these programs will usually include the candidate's performance at her undergraduate degree, but it may also require an entrance test or interview.
