Mahendra Engineering College for women was started in the year 2008 and is located at tiruchengode, Tamilnadu. This affiliated college recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Provides several engineering course through a 5-acre campus. With total student strength of 1139 and faculty strength of 83 MECW offers the correct setting for the education of the aspiring female engineers. They teach six courses at two levels of degrees and strengthen themselves in the engineering field including Computer Science, Electronics and Communication and Information Technology.

MECW has some of the state-of-the-art facilities to transform the enabling environment for the students. The institute has a wide fleet of programs in engineering that ranges from 5 undergraduate courses and 1 postgraduate course. Every program will be on a full-time basis; the BE/B.Tech program will be for 4 years and ME program for 2 years. The overall capacity sanctioned for the undergraduate programs is 420 intake with variation in the fields of specialization.
