Mahishadal Girls College, Purba Medinipur, is one of the prestigious colleges. The college offers graduate and post-graduate courses strictly for female students. There are 65 seats available for this program in B.Sc Geography (Hons), 77 in B.Sc Nutrition (Hons), 55 in B.Sc Mathematics (Hons), and 45 BA (Hons) in Anthropology.

B.Voc. Programs: Mahishadal Girls College offers B.Voc in Software Development and Theatre and Stage Craft. For these two skill-based courses, it follows the same merit system for admission as applied to other undergraduate disciplines.
