MCC Calicut: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Malabar Christian College (MCC) was ever established in the year 1909 and is one of the famous institutions placed in Calicut, Kerala. This government affiliated college, approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council- NAAC is equipped with 22 courses and 7 degree programmes. The MCC Calicut is spread over a small area of 3.55 of acres and is home to 1908 total number of students out of which 686 were male while 1226 were females. The college is staffed by 48 committed members of faculty to give its students appropriate facilities to master in.

MCC Calicut feel privileged to present a wide range of amenities for students to complement their learning. It has adequate institutional library facility that supports the academic integrity of the college. For health and wellness, there is a first aid facility and for leisure a gym in the campus. This is because several units in the schools provides specific sport facilities in which the students can participate in. An auditorium provides space for events and seminars and a canteen provides food and snacks for employees and learners. The college possesses well furnished practical based labs for all the departments of the college.

The college has a total intake capacity of 1908 students for all programmes in the college to encourage the students of all fields and in order to serve the purpose of campus recruitment. The courses are BA in History , Economics, Malayalam, B.Sc in Zoology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, MA in Malayalam, History, and so on. 

Malabar Christian College has a policy of giving admissions to every one, but the admission is done based on some tested and proven merit. Through its admission office, the college offers entry into several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes although entrance may be granted on merit depending on performance in qualifying examinations. MCC Calicut is committed to excellence; the student mix of the college also confirms this assertion in every aspect. Tuition fee at the college can be made through merit-based or need-based scholarships and other tuition fees which are not clearly explained.
