Malwa Central College of Education for Wome, Ludhiana, was established in 1955 and is one of the prime women’s colleges of Punjab, India. Malwa Central College of Education for Women provides two integrated courses in education. The proposes B.Ed course is a two-year full-time course and is approved for an intake capacity of two hundred and fifty students. The two-year full-time programme Master of Education (M.Ed) is offered to 50 seats. Both courses are aimed at producing competent professional ready to practice teaching and organisational skills in educational institutions. Such disciplinary strategies allow the college to offer intensive and directive programmes in the area of education. The institute offers 150 seats in each of the programmes and is directly responsible for determining the trends for the future of education.
