Malwa Central College of Education for Women, Ludhiana, is recognized as one of the renowned teacher education institutions in India. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed program at Malwa Central College of Education for Women is a full-time course of two years, with a maximum student strength of 250. The admissions for the B.Ed program are based on merit derived from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission policy of the state government, UT Administration, and the university to which it is affiliated is followed by the college in admitting students. A candidate is eligible to apply for the B.Ed course if he/she has completed his/her bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
M.Ed (Master of Education): Like the B.Ed course, M.Ed is also a two-year full-time course. It conducts fifty students at the capacity. The admission procedure to M.Ed is similar to that of B.Ed based on merit. Candidates are assessed as per marks obtained in the qualifying exam which always is the B.Ed degree or equivalent. The college might consider scores of entrance exams or any other selection process as per the guidelines of the state government, the university, or UT administration.
