Malwa College of Education, Guna Admission Process

Under the Malwa College Act, an affiliated college of State Government of Madhya Pradesh, the foundation stone was laid for Malwa College on the soil of Gram Sagar (Jaisingh Pura), Binajang-Chachoda, Guna District, Madhya Pradesh. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in different disciplines. The admission process at Malwa College of Education is meant to identify deserving candidates for admission strictly on merit per the guidelines laid down by the government of Madhya Pradesh and the affiliated university. Degree-wise Admission Process

BA: The Bachelor of Arts program is functioning with an approved intake of 180 students. Admission is most likely basing merit from the 10+2 qualifying examination, yet details are not elucidated.

B.Sc: Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics comprise an approved intake of 120 students for this program, with entry apparently by merit, depending on the 10+2 examination results with PCM subjects.

B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education program is approved for 100 students. The entry is then made on merit as determined by examination scores on the recognized exit level qualifying examination, and sometimes by entrance examination, as per policy governing this by state and university.

B.Com and B.Com. (Computer Science): B.Com with an intake of 30 students and B.Com in Computer Science with 60 seats are being offered by the college.The admission process is presumed to be merit-based and will consider the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

PGDCA: For the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications program, an intake of 60 students is fixed. The admission criteria may involve the graduation marks and possibly an entrance test.

D.El.Ed: The Diploma in Elementary Education course accepts 50 students. Merit-based admissions are done on the basis of the marks thereof in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, according to the applicable policy of the state government or UT administration.
