Manikya Lal Verma Government College, Bhilwara popularly known as MLVGC was established in 1951. This is a co-educational college in Bhilwara, Rajastan which is in collaboration with the state government, recognized and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Comprising of twenty one acres land, the MLVGC is multi program university or college that has the 6476 students enrolled in its institution. Having 57 devoted faculty members, the college offers the students to complete 34 courses across 9 degree programmes. MLVGC was introduced for its well rounded academic programmes that offers many disciplines at both the undergraduate and post graduate level in such areas as arts, sciences, commerce, etc.

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme has a choice between the Geography and Economics disciplines, the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) and the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) give a good grounding in their respective fields. At the post graduate level, the college offers Master of Arts (MA) courses in the specialisations of Hindi, English, Geography, History, Sociology, Economics, and Political Science. Science stream has programmes of Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Botany and Zoology. For commerce students M.Com programmes in Economic Administration and Financial Management, Business Administration, and Accountancy and Business Statistics are available. The college also has specialisation in the offer of doctoral programmes (Ph.D.) and also focuses on research by providing high quality education.
