MLV college is one of the popular colleges in Bhilwara and nearby areas. It offers a wide variety of courses but the infrastructure is something the college lacks in. No doubt, the building and the ground is huge having a lot of parking space but from inside the campus is not maintained much. There is no canteen in the college and the campus is also not so clean as well.
I completed my B.com in the year 2019. The quality of teaching is not so good as the professors are not professional and the management is also that good. The college is a government college that is why the management do not focus much on the professionalism and quality of teaching. The curriculum is not updated as you can find the same books on the stationary shops every year.
No placements are provided. Do not expect any placement from the college as it is not properly attended by the students. Students only come to the college to give exams and during admissions. The college did not handle any placements.
It is value for money if you need a degree and do not want to go to college as well. The college offers a lot of courses in various fields which makes it a very good option. It is affiliated to MDS University which has a decent name in Rajasthan. The courses are available in different fields like msc, econonics etc.
The students of MLV college are very active in sports. The college has a team for cricket and other sports. It also has a big basketball and cricket ground to practice. Beside this, there are no activities other than the election rallies from the student parties. The campus is in safe locality of Bhilwara having all the facilities nearby. The support staff is polite as well as the management.
MLV College is a Government College and have the condition same as most of the other government colleges. The campus only have basic facilities and no additional infrastructure. The building is big with a big ground to play.
The academics are not maintained in the college in terms of in-class teaching as the students usually do not come to college to attend classes. The faculties do not come because of that, also the admission is taken by students who wants to go out and pursue other courses.
No placements are provided by the campus. If you can find any from your own then you might able to get on the basis of B.com or other courses you are pursuing in the college. The management does not take responsibility for the placements.
It is indeed value for money in a city like Bhilwara where students from small nearby towns come to study. It is also a good option for students like me who wants to pursue other courses and are able to complete graduation altogether.
There is no campus life in the college other than the sports ground and some students sitting and chilling out with friends. There are no events or fests happens in the college. The only area where the students are active is Sports.
As it a government college so the infrastructure of the institute is not that great. The facilities as such are not well maintained but the campus is huge and has big playgrounds. The classrooms are good not that great but have all the basic facilities. It does not have facilities like wifi.
I am pursuing B.com from this College. The quality of teaching is good and even being a government college they teach well. Talking about the curriculum, it is same from past many years which I feel is a drawback as it should get change from time to time. It is beneficial for those who are pursuing any other professional course as studying only b.com from this college won't make you job ready.
The college does not offer any placement facility. The government should start offering placements facilities to make the institute more popular among the students. In this college, other departments like Engineering haved more value as compare to B.com.
The fee for my course is around 2500 per year. It is totally value for money if a student is pursuing any other professional course or doing a job parallely. There is no attendance restrictions as such which makes it easy for people to get a degree and work or pursue any other thing as well.
The campus life is not so good as I mentioned that most of the students are those who are currently focusing on other areas and doing this course just to get the degree. Most of the events are related to sports as their is good facility for students to play in the ground. The campus is in the heart of the city making it easy to handle emergency situations. The teachers and staff are quite supportive and understand the situation very well.
