10 MonthsPost Graduate Diploma In Print and Digital Journalism Is a ten-Months Full-Time Course Offered by Manorama School of Communication, Kottayam.
This program is not subjected to approval by any Government of India regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE, etc.
Applicants to the courses must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Students who have appeared in their final examination may also apply. However, they will have to furnish adequate proof of graduation for their admission to be regularized.
Candidates aspiring to join the course are expected to have a good academic record, a keen interest in current affairs and politics, a deep commitment to journalism as a career, and sound writing skills. Admission will be on the basis of a candidate’s performance in a written test and an interview.
MASCOM provides state-of-the-art facilities for training in print journalism. It has a computer lab equipped with modern computers interconnected by means of Local Area Network. The School has a well-stocked library. In addition, students will be provided access to the Malayala Manorama library and digital archives.
