Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj's Commerce, Management and Computer Science, Nashik, popularly known as MVPS CMCS, and has courses offered in Commerce, Management, and Computer Science. Admission is done on a merit basis so that opportunities are levelled out among all deserving candidates. The college is NAAC accredited.

In most cases, admission to undergraduate courses is done depending on the grades of the candidates in their 10+2 examinations. Some of the courses that are at the undergraduate level include B.Com, BBA, BBA in Computer Applications, and B.Sc in Computer Science. Admission to M.Sc in Computer Science and such courses is done strictly on the marks secured by candidates in their related bachelor's course.

The admission cycle coincides with the academic calendar of Maharashtra universities; application forms normally open after announcement of 12th standard results in the months that follow. 

Application Process

The application procedure of MVPS CMCS is extremely simple and uncomplicated for everyone who can avail the course. Here are the step-by-step application procedures of the course.

2. Click on the "Download Admission Prospectus" icon on the webpage. The details about available courses, eligibility criteria, and essential documents will be found here.

3. Fill up the application form properly with personal and academic details. So that there would not be an entry of wrong information at any later stage.

4. Attach all the documents that are usually required, like:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• School leaving certificate
• Caste certificate (in case of applying in the reserved category)
• Any other certificates or documents as mentioned in the prospectus

5. Pay the application fee according to the requirements of the college. The mode of payment will be stated in the application process.

6. Submit the application form and all supporting documents before the deadline of the application as stated.

7. Track your application status after submitting it through the college website or any other means the institution may use.

8. There will be interview rounds also for which the selected shortlisted candidates of the respective streams will be provided with a date/time.

9. After you are selected formal admission procedure followed by all at MVPS College of Science as well to course fee pay or submit original documents

10. Then you are mandatorily obligated to be attending the Orientation programs and reporting MVPS CMCS for an Academic session.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: MVPS CMCS has an intake of 120 seats in the Bachelor of Commerce course. The college follows strict merit-based admissions along with the reservation policies of the Government of Maharashtra. The eligibility criterion usually is to pass 10+2 with Commerce or equivalent subjects.

BBA offers 80 seats. Admission based on merit quota, and subject to the state government reservation guidelines. Those holding a 10+2 certification in any of the streams, in general are eligible for consideration.

BBA Computer Applications: This course is also referred to as BCA in some colleges. The highest number of intakes is 160 seats. The admissions are merit-based and follow the reservation policies. The students with a background in Mathematics at the 10+2 level are preferred.

B.Sc Computer Science: The college offers 80 seats for this course. The admissions are merit-based and follow the government reservation norms. The eligibility is passing 10+2 with Mathematics and Science subjects.

M.Sc Computer Science: This postgraduate program has an intake of 30 seats. Admission is merit-based, taking into account the candidate's performance in his or her bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
