24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) is a two-year full-time course postgraduate offered by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the first year of MCA in any institution affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree course of three years minimum duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level.
For Admission to 2nd year of the MCA course (Lateral Entry), in any institution affiliated with AKTU, Lucknow, a candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree course of a minimum of three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level.
