Marwar Engineering College and Research Centre (MECRC), established in 2003, is one of the largest engineering college situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The MECRC is located on a large plot of land measuring 15 acres and is well equipped to offer engineering programmes to young talents. The college is one of the affiliated colleges having a team of 61 committed faculties. MECRC offers six courses across two degree courses and can effectively offer courses to all engineering disciplines.
MECRC has facilities that are developed and put to promote the learning environment for the students. The college has fitted and air conditioned hostels for boys and girls will can house up to one hundred students each. These hostels are accompanied by neat and clean mess halls which will provide necessary safety and health for the residents. In the area of academics MECRC has well stocked library with round about fifteen thousand course books, thirty six International journals, thirty one National and newspapers and magazine. These full time undergraduate programmes take four years, graduating the students with a sound academic knowledge and skills in the area of specialisation. M.Tech Electrical Engineering is a postgraduate programme in the discipline which has a duration of two years and is a full time programme.

The seats are allocated in the following way: Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats), Electrical Engineering (90 seats), Mechanical Engineering (90 seats), Civil Engineering (60 seats), and Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats).
M.Tech: M.Tech program in Electrical Engineering at MECRC has 18 seats. Admission into this program is usually on the basis of the candidate's performance in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or some other postgraduate entrance examination, and perhaps through an interview process. The candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in the same discipline to be eligible.
