Marwar Engineering College and Research Centre (MECRC), Jodhpur, is a large engineering college in Rajasthan. The college provides various engineering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. MECRC's admission process is established to find out and select the top students for their engineering courses.
The admission period of MECRC normally goes hand in hand with the academic year, which normally starts in July or August.
For B.Tech programmes, MECRC provides B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The minimum is 10+2 pass with core subjects of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics from a state- or nationally government-recognized board.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: There are five B.Tech programs with 420 seats in MECRC. Admission to B.Tech depends on the marks secured by the candidate in course-related entrance examinations and 10+2 results. The seats are allocated in the following way: Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats), Electrical Engineering (90 seats), Mechanical Engineering (90 seats), Civil Engineering (60 seats), and Computer Science and Engineering (60 seats).
M.Tech: M.Tech program in Electrical Engineering at MECRC has 18 seats. Admission into this program is usually on the basis of the candidate's performance in GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or some other postgraduate entrance examination, and perhaps through an interview process. The candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in the same discipline to be eligible.
