Mata Sundri College for Women was started in the year 1967 is a constituent college of the University of Delhi situated in New Delhi, India. It is located in a 6 acres land having a vision to impart quality education to the female students only. NAAC accreditation along with NCTE approval makes it offer a wide spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The total student enrolment of the institution is 4,547: 3,286 for undergraduate courses and 90 for postgraduate courses. The college has 81 dedicated faculty members, and the faculty to students ratio is ideal. 

Mata Sundri College for Women has all the facilities that would ensure the students have a better learning environment. A central area of the institution, the library offers a large reading area with comfortable chair and free Internet connection to allow students do research and studying. The commitment in the college to the overall development is well illustrated in its modern sporting complex uniquely equipped with treadmills, cross trainers and special mats for various sporting activities. Mata Sahib Kaur Ji auditorium is a cultural hall and it also used for all gathering and has large occupancy capacity of most than 500. The lighting systems are modernised as well as the audio systems, and it also supports multimedia projection. The college also has well equipped laboratories especially to the Psychology department, which contains of three fully air conditioned laboratories which contain LCD projectors and computers.

Mata Sundri College for Women has these courses of study distributed among various disciplines. It offers 47 courses with 14 honors programmes for undergraduates, 4 programmes for postgraduates, and some combined discipline offerings. A few of the courses offered for the undergraduate level are as follows: B.Com Hons which has an availability of 180, B.A. Political Science Hons with 120, B.Sc Mathematics Hons with 60. The college also opens blends like B.A Advertising, Sales Promotion and Sales Management and Economics in conjunction with various subjects. 

Enrolment of students at Mata Sundri College for Women is also done on the basis of marks secured by students in their previous examinations. The CUET UG scores are accepted in the college for the undergraduate courses.
