Infrastructure is basic only. Classrooms are ordinary, labs and library are average, campus is small, and facilities are functional but not modern. It meets minimum DU standards, nothing exceptional.
Mata Sundri College for Women follows DU syllabus with mostly theory-based teaching. Academics depend heavily on self-study. Few departments are active; exposure, research and practical learning are limited.
Okish but almost nothing serious for freshers. There’s no strong placement cell like in professional colleges. Some internships or job support happen, but many students find opportunities themselves. Don’t expect big campus recruitments.
Yes but no place to sit and chill and feel calm....small campus nd no playground
There’s no strong placement cell like in professional colleges. Some internships or job support happen, but many students find opportunities themselves. Don’t expect big campus recruitments.
The infra is okayish...it is good but the minus point lies in the whole no lawn situation. Otherwise the labs, classes, library is all excellent. They are well maintained. We have a wifi but it doesn't work some time. The classes are hygenic. The canteen is also decent.
Psychology department is active and has good faculty here. They are interacting and help us accordingly. We also had psyfest which was amazing. Teachers are experienced as well which adds to why it is good.
We do have a placement cell. Though I'm not sure about the placements since I'm only in first year but overall i think placements and jobs depend on your skills and how you are doing, your grades and how you can find your placement.
The course costs about 30K annually. And since it is a DU college, it has minimal charges.
Campus is not that big and it doesn't have a lawn.
The college does have all the new and required infrastructure facilities but the lift has had caused problem several times . Limited sports equipment is a major drawback too. Sports ground is small and csnnot accommodate a large strength or be used for various sports. Otherwise the buildings, rooms and labs are well maintained.
This college is great for academic oriented students. You might not enjoy a college campus life like other Delhi University colleges but the academics of Mata Sundri College for Women sets it apart from many off campus colleges.
Placements are adequate but when in compared to other colleges of Delhi University it could have been better. Intership turnover of the college is good compared to other colleges of Delhi University.
The infrastructure is good and modern. The campus is disabled friendly so one can find lifts and electric chairs on stairs and wheelchair passages. The canteen is huge and only the 4th floor has AC. The WiFi works but sometime has issues and yes everything’s well maintained
Am pursuing bachelors in political science and the teachers in our faculty are really helpful and use real life examples to teach. The curriculum is well understood and yes it’s upto date. Yes it makes me job ready too and aware of my surroundings
I haven’t really seen any placements in our course. But I’ve seen placement drives in our college and we also have a placemat cell in our college where internships from top companies like KPMG are there
My course is for 24k per year and I do feel it’s a bit costly as it is one of the costly political science colleges in du. I feel it’s not much worth full but it’s okay for a govt college with that much fees.
The campus life is good. We’ve a lot of events happening every other day plus our annual fest Saarang is one of the best times of the year. Girls are really good and friendly here. It’s a safe and sound campus too
The infrastructure of the college is mesmerizing the campus is little small but the space occupied and the infrastructure provided within that space is really well.,the enviornment of the campus and the cleanliness, hygiene is maintained in the college.
Academically wise the faculty are good, often classes do not get canceled, professor explain the things nicely. What makes the thing job ready is not just by attending lectures on the daily basis that is the part of it but by doing self study reading other books and being updated on the other things is as well important.
The placements are provided by the college. The package provided is good package and placements plays the important role in the development of the college as well as when the good placements are provided the college becomes in the demand for its infrastructure and placements structure.
The college is value for money as the faculties are good, infrastructure provided like within the space infrastructure given is really the good utilization of space, canteen is there, and the most important thing is the library where the students can actually study like the enviornment of library is really good.
The campus life is nice like some brands come for the promotions u can get the free bees, but the drawback is not much brands visit, though alumni is good, the location of the college is really nice as it comes under the central delhi and the enviornment outside and inside the college is also safe.
The college infrastructure is quite good. The room are well equipped with tables, chairs and blackboards with good ventilation system The cafeteria serves good and enjoyable food ,there is greenery all over.
Faculty of political science department teachers in modern methods and they are highly approachable for any personal and academic advises . The test and exams are not very tough. we are given the class test assignments with mid sem tests and semester exams.
There is an internship cell in the college which brings placements or high companies for the students recruiting purpose. the previous year records 54.2% placements of political science departments in mscw. there are top recruiting companies which recruits the students from our college. the top companies are Maruti Suzuki and so on.
The cost for the political science department is 25000 yearly and the money is quite worth it.
The campus life of Mata sundari college for women is quite good there are people or students from different backgrounds and States and teachers are both very pleasant.
I hope you enjoy the college too.
The college infrastructure is decent and functional. Classrooms are well-lit, equipped with projectors, and generally comfortable. The library has a good collection of books for political science, though seating can get crowded during exams.
The academics are solid and structured. The Political Science curriculum is relevant, theory-heavy, and updated regularly. Faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable, though teaching quality can vary. Exams follow the standard DU pattern which means its manageable if you stay consistent.
Placements at the college are moderate. Around half the students get placed, mostly in entry-level roles in consulting, HR, sales, and service sectors. So overall it is decent but it heavily depends in what course you're studying.
The college offers good value for money. The fees are affordable for a DU institution, and the academic quality, safety, and faculty support make it worth it. While infrastructure isn’t top-tier and placements are average, the overall learning environment justifies the cost.
Campus life is calm and friendly. The crowd is supportive, societies are active, and events are simple but engaging. The campus is small, but the environment feels safe and community-oriented, which makes it easy to settle in and find your space.
The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating, making learning interactive and engaging. The library is one of the best features, offering a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources that support both academic and research activities. The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest instruments and technology, ensuring students gain practical knowledge along with theoretical understanding.
The academic standard of our college is excellent and focuses on both conceptual understanding and practical application. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to match the latest industry trends and academic developments. Each subject is taught with clarity, and students are encouraged to think critically rather than just memorize.
The placement opportunities offered by our college are quite promising and reflect the institution’s strong industry connections. The Placement Cell works actively throughout the year to bring reputed companies to the campus for recruitment drives. Many well-known organizations from various sectors such as IT, finance, management, and engineering visit the campus every year.
Our college offers good value for money considering the quality of education, facilities, and opportunities it provides. The fee structure is reasonable and well-justified by the excellent academic environment, modern infrastructure, and dedicated faculty members.
Campus life at our college is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for growth and fun. The atmosphere is always energetic, with students from different backgrounds coming together to learn, share, and celebrate. There’s a strong sense of community that makes college life enjoyable and memorable.
Campus life at our college is vibrant, inclusive, and full of experiences that go far beyond academics. The environment is friendly and energetic, where students from diverse cultures and backgrounds come together, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
not that good classes doesn’t have AC power cuts anytime in summers v difficult to manage tables and chairs are minimum and so many are brocken…not at all maintained college it is. Du must look out to other colleges also and maintain them.
That is good i wont say it bad cuz some teachers are good and they do take pain and for children and do help them in studies and do tell them so many ques helpful in exam…teaches very good to help students achieve goal.
i really don’t know about placements…i did not sit in last placement camp and i’ll ikr to judge it when college end placements would come for us final year students. i’ll be able to judge it at that time only.
My course
not good
My college has basic amenities but it lacks the space required to seat the number of children that are there in a class. The quality of the furniture though is a concern though as many tend to get hurt due to the wood follicles and nails that stick out of the tables and chairs. Wifi is a little slow in a few classrooms but it is fine. The college is clean and well maintained and the food available in canteen is also good.
The course framework and the teaching faculty is nice but sometimes there are delays in completion of the syllabus and then at the end we have to be the ones that have to complete the topic without any assistance.
Since I am in second year only I can't comment on placements but our college has a good placement cell that tells us about internship opportunities and hosts workshops on how we can develop our CV and how we can go forward with it.
I do feel I am getting my money's worth. It's a nice environment where everyone is friendly. I get to know a lot of things that help me develop my portfolio and get access to opportunities.
The college campus is a bit small but has places where you can sit and chat with your friends and hang out between the breaks that we have.
