Matoshri College of Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. Medical (OPD) and hospitalization facilities are available to all the students and staff members within the campus in Matoshri Hospital. In case of emergency, the hospital ambulance is used to transfer the sick person to the hospital. The college also has a Doctor-on-call system and 24 x 7 availability of ambulances to handle emergencies.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. Matoshri Engineering College campus now offers a fresh, bright, and new fitness facility for students and staff. It is located on the college campus. The MERC Fitness Centre is a great place to work out. Students and staff may use this facility free of charge.

The major library resources are available at the Central Library. The Central Library has a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, handbooks in a form of hard copies and e-books. The hard copies available in the library are 15539 volumes and in excess of 8832 e-books. The Institute has a Membership of NDL, which provides online access to various learning resources such as audiovisual and text resources. The library has subscribed to 99 Print Journals and Magazines. In addition to this, the Institute has subscribed for DELNET which provides access to 10839 free E-books in 709 categories and 400 e-journals for engineering and technology. Daily newspapers and periodicals are available in the Library. As per the decision taken by the Statutory Body of the affiliated University about the access of Jayakar Library for the affiliated colleges, the remote access to the Affiliated University’s Jayakar Library is available for e-journals and e-books. Jayakar Library has a rich collection of e-journals and e-books.

Sport plays an important part in the life of this college. The main site has the best on-site sports facilities in the college. There are full-size cricket pitches. Hard courts for Holley Ball are also available. Students are provided with various platforms and opportunities to participate in sports.

The Center comprises a server room having eight servers, two IBM servers for database, a Web server, a Linux server, a Library server, and a Domain server. All the terminals are provided with Internet connectivity by BroadBand with a capacity of 4 Mbps with 1: 1. Apart from all software, the center is also equipped with visual aids like LCD projectors, OHPs, Colour printers, Scanners, Digital webcam, etc.

A spacious and well-equipped canteen facility is available at the MCOERC campus. A complete and planned meal is served in neat, clean, and hygienic surroundings. Apart from north and south Indian nutritious breakfast, lunch and dinner, tea, coffee, and soft drinks along with snacks are also available. All the items are reasonably priced. We also provide a very hygienic mess facility separately.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. Institute has an Auditorium with a capacity of 200 and an amphitheater.

The college has a transport facility for students and staff. The institute has its own fleet of buses which not only take care of daily transportation but are also used for student outings like the NSS program, study tours, and industrial visits.

The college has good networking for the alumni association. The departmental coordinators in tandem with the Alumni association keep track of the student's progression and the update has been analyzed.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. The college has the following laboratories - Project Lab Basic Electronics Lab Communication Lab Measurement Lab Software lab-I Software Lab-II PG Lab 66 Research Lab.

The College Campus has a well-furnished Guest House situated in the utility block of the campus. The Guest House is primarily meant for official guests of the University/ participants of Seminars/ Workshops/ Symposia/ Conferences/ Training Programs, organized by the College/ Departments.

The Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) has been operating its 24x7 ATM facility on the college campus. This facility can be availed by the students and staff of the college. ATM caters to the requirements of the students and the staff. It is located in the utility block of the campus, it saves their precious time and effort.

The College offers a campus hostel facility for boys with reasonable charges. The hostels are equipped with all the latest facilities to take care of the needs of the students. It has adequate high security and good discipline. The students who are not staying with their parents shall reside in the college hostel as per college rules. The canteen of the college provides food in the hostel also. Internet facility is also available in hostels. Hostels are completely Wi-Fi.

The College offers a campus hostel facility for girls with reasonable charges. The girl’s hostel is situated at Panchvati Nashik, and fro bus facility is available from the girl’s hostel. The hostels are equipped with all the latest facilities to take care of the needs of the students. It has adequate high security and good discipline. The students who are not staying with their parents shall reside in the college hostel as per college rules. The canteen of the college provides food in the hostel also. Internet facility is also available in hostels. Hostels are completely Wi-Fi.
