Maulana Azad Institute of Pharmacy (MAIP), Jodhpur, Rajasthan, was established in the year 2012. PCI approved, this affiliated college provide specialised education in pharmaceutical sciences. MAIP, covering 5 acres of land, has earned its reputation in the sphere of pharmacy. This institute has total sanctioned intake of 119 students in different professional courses of study and has a team of 11 committed faculties. MAIP offers two programmes, a four year Bachelors in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and a two year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) to meet the challenging demands of the pharmacy profession in the market place.

In matters of pharmacy education, MAIP provides a total of two full time courses. The B.Pharma programme is of four years duration, whereas, the D.Pharma programme is of two years duration. Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course, which can be pursued for four years with the intake of 60 students per academic year. The admission procedure for B.Pharma will be primarily based on 10+2 examination marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Pharmacy Entrance test scores. The actual eligibility criteria along with cutoff marks for consideration may change from year to year depending on competition and the number of candidates applying.
D.Pharma: Two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), again with an annual intake of 60 students, is another course offered by MAIP. Besides admission for D.Pharma, generally, an applicant must have passed the 10+2, Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics). Selection may also depend on the 12th standard marks and the relevant entrance examinations held for diploma programs in pharmacy.
