Maulana Azad Institute of Pharmacy (MAIP) is one such very prestigious name involved in specialized teaching of pharmaceutical sciences. An institute recognized by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) follows a merit admission procedure for its pharmacy courses. Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) course, which can be pursued for four years with the intake of 60 students per academic year. The admission procedure for B.Pharma will be primarily based on 10+2 examination marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Pharmacy Entrance test scores. The actual eligibility criteria along with cutoff marks for consideration may change from year to year depending on competition and the number of candidates applying.

D.Pharma: Two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), again with an annual intake of 60 students, is another course offered by MAIP. Besides admission for D.Pharma, generally, an applicant must have passed the 10+2, Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics). Selection may also depend on the 12th standard marks and the relevant entrance examinations held for diploma programs in pharmacy.
