It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 540 marks you hold a good chance in Medical College, Kolkata
For example,
in neet 2019, 523 marks for sc category got an mbbs seat in Medical College, Kolkata under West Bengal state quota

Hello,
Regarding your question, KPC Medical college, Kolkata has management quota seats for admission in MBBS. However only those students who are NEET qualified and are domicile of West Bengal are eligible for State Govt. seats while NEET qualified students from all over India who are registered with WBMCC are eligible for Management quota seats.
The exact marks for admission to management quota is difficult to predict, however as per the marks mentioned above they are quite lower and management quota might come in the place for admission. Check out these link for NEET 2019 West Bengal cutoffs -

Dear aspirant
NEET is the official entrance for students all over thr country for BPT MBBS BDS degree. To sit for BPT counselling one has to clear the cut off marks or percentile. This year's cut off has not been released yet. Generally
For general category it is 50 percentile
For Obc category it is 40 percentile
for SC Category it is 40 percentile
for ST Category it is 40 percentile 599-118
for PWD category it is 45 percentile
Minimum cut off percentile is constant . But as the standard of the question paper and total number of candidates appraring in the exam are no constant , cut off marks vary every year .
However approximately for general category it is generally around 120 , for SC ST OBC generally around 120 and for PWD approximately 130

In 2019 under State Quota, 523 marks secured a seat in Kolkata Medical College under SC Category. That was the cut off. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a seat in 2020 in Kolkata Medical College, with SC reservation, you will need atleast 575. This is because this time as NEET has been pushed back by almost 5 months, the competition is going to be tough and the cut offs are going to increase. So for a seat in this College, you should aim for atleast 575 and above. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 28 more days to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity
Kolkata Medical College is a Government Medical College. This means 15% of the seats are filled through All India Quota and 85% of the seats are filled through State Counselling. In 2019, under State Quota, the cut offs for State Quota for various Categories have been as follows:
General Category: 614
OBC: 606
Under All India Quota, 640 marks secured a seat in Kolkata Medical College under General Category and that was the cut off. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat in this College, based on your Category, you should aim for atleast more than 50 marks. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 33 more days to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.
Hello,
Actually there is no comparison possible in between the medical colleges of Kolkata. AIIMS BBSR is one of the best institute among all the AIIMS ever. The admission process is conduct in the basis of AIIMS entrance test.
Now if I come to the medical colleges in Kolkata then SSKM, RG Kar and CMC all are good as per their position. All are conducting their admission asper the NEET rank basis. SSKM & RG Kar is more or less too good. But CMC is the most oldest institute ever and number one also. So now it's depends completely on your rank.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
