It's a government aided college. It's a college with good infrastructure with ample space to learn and empower budding women in the field of commerce arts and science. It's one of the best women's college in kerala and is well know for its academic.
Well knowledgeable faculty members. Always dynamic and also well updated and informed curriculum. Quality of education is top end . The education I've received from this college is actually tailored for job intake.
Best companies were brought in for campus placements. Many of my fellow mates have now secured good job positions in various MNC's. Salary package provided was of 2.5 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum. The placement process varied from MNC to another MNC.
Yes since its a government aided college , the quality of education is worth for the money given.
Mercy is a women's college which is a very simple and basic college. The infrastructure and amenities here are very basic and minimal to satisfy temporary requirements of the students. Even though it's basic they are all well maintained.
I studied Bcom specializing under finance. The quality of teaching here is very satisfying as teachers help us and teach us 'n' number of times. They also update us with everything related to our academics.
There are very few or sometimes even no placements here. I planned proceed with higher studies like MBA/MCom but i do know that other friends of mine has been getting great references from our faculties and also have been placed in really good companies.
Mercy college is women's college in Palakkad. The living spaces are also very clean and well maintained. Now advanced facilities are being available here which have been of great help for students in the college.
I studied Bcom specializing under General finance which is a little advanced course that takes time to grasp so faculty should help the right way. Our faculty were really supportive and would teach us how much ever they can.
There are no much placements here and in other colleges in palakkad. Students usually proceed with higher studies or search for jobs themselves. Here the quality of education is really high so students do get jobs in good comapnies.
Average. There are only basic amenities but not very advanced. It's a women's college so the rules, regulations and the code of conduct here are totally different. They are well-maintained and hygienic.
I studied BA specializing in English literature and language. In mercy college. the faculty of our department is the best. They are just so much of fun, very enjoyable and friendly. So the whole course went pretty well for me.
The quality of placements here are average. I did not for placements I proceeded with higher studies so i dint try for placements there. But few students did get placed in good positions. The faculty will help you out as well.
The college infrastructure is just an average I would say. You will get just basic amenities but not very advanced facilities. But they are well maintained and supervised as much as they can till now.
I studied Bachelor in Science specializing in Chemistry which is quite a rigorous subject to grasp and learn but i have always loved chemical formulas so i chose that. Subjects are well taught here but the faculty are not that friendly and understanding here and that too because it's a women's college.
Placement are average here not that good and not that bad too. I did not sit for placements instead i started with masters in krishnammal college coimbatore. While some of my friends did get placed at some really good labs.
Yes the value for money is also average. I pay around 25 k for fees here which is okay for a small government kind of college like Mercy's. Yes i do feel it worth nothing wrong in that. There should be enough work from your side as well.
Campus life is lovely here. My friends are the best thing that happened to me from here. There are a lot of events happening here which are coordinated by us. Our college can ensure your safety within the premises.
The college infrastructure is fairly good. Everything is well maintained and the food especially is really good there..It is one of the good colleges in Palakkad. It is a women's college so please keep that in mind.
Academics is also good...More than the academic part the internships and placements we got from college was more helpful for me. That way i am extremely thankful and grateful to this college. Faculty and coordinators are very friendly and strict too.
Like i said the placements i received from this college was really good than the academic part so for me i would say it was one of the best choices. I got into Biocon which is like one of the best companies.
