Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is a Graduate program of technical field. The duration of this course is 4 years with 8 semesters and course approved by AICTE. Computer science (or computing science) is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and their implementation and application in computer systems. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering started functioning from the very beginning of this college. The department has well equipped classrooms & labs. Classes are spacious, well furnished & well ventilated for providing a good environment for students for learning. Labs are fully air conditioned & computers and peripherals are timely upgraded.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics; Physics & Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology put together are eligible for admission. However, under Management quota candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. Note : Relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination will be allowed to those candidates who belong to the communities listed under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) and OEC category, as per rules. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.

Admission Details

The seats other than those set apart to be filled by the Management will be filled by the Government as per the merit list prepared on the basis of Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala as per rules framed by the Government.

For Management quota of seats also the admission will be made from the rank list prepared on the basis of CEE conducted by the Government of Kerala.

College Infrastructure

The college is a 26 years old college, we are having an IoT Lab - which is having a capacity of doing mini projects equipment, Fab Lab- it is occupied with the latest machinery like 3D printers laser cutter like advanced materials, Civil Department and Mechanical Department Lab, Project Lab with a high-end system for research related type projects. All the labs are kept a logbook and proper maintaining of the equipment are been done while making sure than students are getting accessed to it.
