MG Government Arts and Science College, Kharsia Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college is a ‘Golden Treasury’ in the form of a rich library with almost 31,500 Books. Book Lifter is issuing books to students with the help of some professors. Thus the library is running smoothly.

The college has well-equipped laboratories for Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, and Physics separately.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an excellent track record in sports activities. The organization of inter-college and inter-district is a regular feature. Regular coaching camps are organized. The students of this college regularly participate in inter-sector, inter-university, and state-level tournaments. Now, the Sports Officer is Dr. Ramesh Tandan. Dr. Tandan has led the university team of All India Powerlifting in Chandigarh and All India cycling in Bikaner as a team manager. Under his guidance, the players of the college won continuously for the 15th time in boys kho kho and girls kho kho both. The college hosts in-sector (district) level athletics (boys/ girls) competitions every year in the organizing of Dr. R. K. Tandan. The boys and girls play Kabaddi, Kho kho, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Athletics, badminton, etc each year as competitors at the sector/state/university level.

The college has a Gymnasium with all gear and gazettes.

The College has an Auditorium of municipal Kharsia (available for big programs), one Open Stage & One Conference Room for carrying out various cultural and scholarly activities

The college has various clubs like the Eco-club which students can join.
