MIT School of Film and Television, Pune, was started in the year 2015 under MIT Art, Design and Technology University. This is a co-educational institution located in the Rajbaug Campus, Loni Kalbhor, Pune. It has three regular courses: two undergraduate and one postgraduate, with a specialisation in Film Making and VFX & Computer Graphics. With a faculty strength of 15, MIT School of Film and Television aims at providing quality education within the field of media and entertainment. 

There are various modern facilities within the campus of MIT School of Film and Television to improve students' learning. The uniquely Indian-based architecture of the library building makes available a large number of books, online journals, and digital media resources. Added to this are many completely equipped auditoriums and seminar halls that can be used for screening or presenting purposes. Besides, there are separate hostels for boys and girls that are well maintained for the comfortable accommodation of out-of-town students. Facilities for swimming pool, tennis courts, and basketball are available to the sports enthusiastic. Health requirements of the students are met on campus by the Vishwaraj Hospital, and different cuisines are available in the cafeteria. The institute offers entrance tests to candidates, followed by a personal interview with experts for the B.Sc and M.Sc levels in Film Making. This is how the institute seeks to assure admissions of only those students who have an aptitude and a passion for their respective fields.
