MIT WPU School of Design, Pune is a constituent college of MIT-World Peace University, which has its teaching institution for specialised design education in Pune, Maharashtra. They are: B.Des in Product Design, User Experience Design, Visual Communication Design, and Fashion and Apparel Design. All courses are five credit programmes taking four years for each course to offer students depth knowledge and skills in any chosen course. Overall, the four programmes have exhibited an intake capacity of 135 students: Product Design and User Experience Design have a capacity of students of 35 each; Fashion and Apparel Design have a capacity of 35 students; and Visual Communication Design has 30 student capacity. This limited intake makes it possible for each student to be well attended to, and get quality education.

The admission procedure of MIT WPU School of Design is planned to enrol students who have excellence in the thematic field. They can either secure admission through the MIT-WPU Design Aptitude Test DAT or have a positive UCEED score of the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design.
